Seiko Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. has launched its newcylinderbed – BSC series. This is a high speed, compoundfeed and walking foot lockstitch sewing machine. This ma-chine is more suitable for heavy duty work than conven-tional products.

The BSC series is improved performance to heavy dutywok as successor of LSC series.

Larger presser foot lift amount, larger needle bar strokeamount and larger alternating presser foot lift amount en-sure to stitch easily even heavy materials. With using newlydesigned arm casting, working space under arm becomeswider, and moving area is safely covered that make han-dling of materials much smoother. Better maintainability withAutomatic lubrication system and Thumb screw to adjustpresser foot pressure. It is suitable for manufacturing mainlybags, luggages, leather goods and etc by introducing thisnew model.

Seductive velour for theskin

Ultra-soft stretch velourproduced on an HKS-3M

brings a touch ofcosiness to apparel

The supersoft, stretch, high-endvelour fabric on this page is settingthe trend in the apparel sector. Thiscuddlesome textile caresses theskin and body. With its gentledrape, it contours the female formwith seductive lines, and its attrac-tive shimmer adds a touch of glam-our.

I t can be used to produceeyecatching evening wear, whichemphasising the body, as well ascomfortable lounge wear for relax-ing on the sofa. The ultra-comfort-able pieces range from silkypyjamas, through tracksuits, to

bathrobes and under garments, andhave also been acceptable attire forthe street since 2017. This casuallook is in high demand from bothmen and women alike, especiallyduring the cold months of the year.

Behind this warp-knitted textile,with its high powers of seductionand exceptional wear comfort, is amachine that delivers maximumperformance. The fabric was pro-duced on an HKS 3-M, 280", in E32 on KARL MAYER’s stand atITMA ASIA + CITME 2018 inShanghai. To produce the fabric,ground guide bars, GB 2 and GB3, worked a counter-notation tricotlapping from polyester, FDY andelastane. GB 1 was also process-ing polyester. In combination with

a textured microfibre yarn as a DTYversion, an extra-fluffy surface wasproduced after raising.

The underlaps made from themicrofibre yarns are raised to pro-duce the velour layer – a processthat requires experience and know-how. With stretch fabrics in particu-lar, there is a danger that the fabricwill tear if the process is not car-ried out correctly. As long as all theprocessing stages are managed cor-rectly, a durable, easy-care fabriccan be produced. The technologyof warp knitting means that the fi-bres in the pile of the textile have ahigh pullout resistance, since thepile-forming layer is firmly tied intothe ground by stitches.
