My name is Naihao Fan. I was born in Zhengzhou,

China. Over the past five years I have had a wide range

of experiences between studios, studying abroad, and

internships.

Each of these experiences have helped me to develop

my communication skills, design intent, familiarity with

group projects and has helped me to become more

aware of the fact that my field of study is about more than

just buildings. It is creating, collaborating and designing

around the needs and desires of the communities we

are part of with the members of such communities and

educating them along the way.

s2 House is situated in a residential district in Manhattan, Kansas. Both clients is artist, and they look for a contemporary design with their own studio inside the house. The design is a perfect reflection of clients personality and aspirations of its works.

The building is divided into two well-defined areas - the studio and the house - each with independent

H access from the living room and roof garden. The house is a white-painted, rectilinear structure made from light concrete blocks.

rnia he Downtown Economic Center is designed to help those

who are interested in bettering their economic situation. The design seeks a balance between form and function, beauty and purpose.

The center is divided to seven floors with seven functional spaces. The steel structure system not only provides light in weight and higher strength, but also brings open space inside the building, and creates a elegant appearance.

his project is to redesign seaton hall into an architecture school fit for the 21st century. The goal of this project is to design a building to represent the quality of students and work that make our college what it is.

Outside of the building is a new courtyard. This courtyard has high presence on campus and should draw people into our college. A social hub, and also a link between old and new.

In between these three cells, there are accesible greenroofs to give student a breathing space during daily work from studio.

his project is to design a modern furniture gallery located at downtown Kansas City. Commissioned by a furniture reseller to exhibit selected furniture, lighting, and kitchen and bath environments. The collection is primarily

T modern, with an emphasis on low-impact, sustainable products and materials and an aesthetic expressive of craft and material quality.

The building is organized around the corner and the streets. Using transparent

concrete to reduce the usage of power, and also allow lights going outside at night time. Therefore, to create a better communication between the building and the site.W

sland of Roatan currently only has one public hospital which is insufficient for the population. The hospital attends to 20-25 patients daily, with a minimum of 1 or 2 being air lifted to the mainland due to inadequacy of the current facility. The facility is greatly understaffed and has inadequate resources to serve its users.
