The Second ~n~ern~~~o~~ Symposium on ~i~~he~ica~ Pathology was held at Magdalen College, Oxford, on July 14th-16th 1969, It was organ&d by E. Farber, J. D. Judah, P. N. Magee and A. E. M. McLean and was made possible by very generous financial support from The Wellcome Trust and by Smith, Kline and French Laboratories Ltd.
The social programme was supported by Beecham Laboratories Ltd, Boehringer Corporation Ltd, Glaxo Laboratories Ltd, Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd and Packard Instruments Ltd.
An important aspect of the Symposium was to pay tribute to Professor Sir Rudolph Peters, F.R.S., who was present and formally opened the proceedings.
