Nowadays, it is very dangerous to go out on the street especially at night time. You will possibly end up in a fight with some people who want to harm you. It is not a bad idea if you learn how to defend yourself. Learning how to punch can give you sufficient time to get out in a fight. Most people don’t know how to fight that’s why they end up getting beaten. Always remember that it is important to avoid fighting.

Do not panic

The first thing you need to know if you are in fight is you need to stay calm, do not panic. If you are panicking, you won’t be able to see the attack of your opponent. You will be defenseless from unexpected attacks. You need to focus on your opponent and think of a way on how to escape. You should also count the number of your opponents. If you only have a single opponent, you can choose if you run or fight.

Keep your hands up

If you think that you can fight especially if you only have a single opponent, you should keep your hands up. It is important to make your stance and keep your hands up to make a quick punch and you can also be able to block the attack of your opponent. You also need to know the vital points of your opponent. If you hit your opponents vital points like neck, stomach and nose you will have the chance to beat your opponent.

You need to know where to land your punch or where to hit your opponent. If you want to punch your opponents face, avoid hitting your opponent’s teeth or forehead. If you are punching your opponent, you must focus on your opponent. Don’t remove your sight on your opponent. If you hit your opponent and you don’t look on your opponent, you won’t able to see your opponents attack and you won’t be able to block it. If you have two or more opponent, you also need to be alert and also look at their movements. If you can’t block your opponent’s attack, you need to dodge it. You must need to predict your opponents move to be ready for a dodge. Always remember that your opponent will surely hit your vital points. You also need to keep distance and don’t move close into your opponent.

The very best way of self defense and to avoid fighting is running. If you have two or more opponents and you know that you will get beaten by them, you need to run. Running from your opponents is not a bad idea. If you are cornered, you need to be calm and distract your opponent’s attention. All you need to do is shout to distract them and kick their knee or punch their throat. If you make your opponents out of their balance, run fast into a safe place and call for help or call the police.
