For Parents/Carers of Primary age Children This pack contains useful resources for parents/carers to use collaboratively with a child/young person (CYP) who might be struggling with issues around their self-esteem.

The resources can be used at home alongside support from Alliance CYP Families services.

Contents: • Psychoeducation of low self-esteem

These resources help the CYP to understand self-esteem and the impact this has on their thoughts, feelings and behaviour. (P 2-4)

• Positive self-esteem focused worksheets and activities

Positive self-esteem building worksheets and activities can be completed collaboratively with the CYP. Activities are based around building positive self-image and allowing the CYP to build their level of self-esteem through guided problem solving. (P 5-14)
