Collecting evidence of pupil written learning .

Process- Weekly staff reviews of pupil work.

One pupil’s work reviewed weekly. On allocated day all subject teachers provide

evidence of pupils classwork, homework, practical work and key assessments.

Following morning –Pupil’s subject teachers meet 30 mins before start of school .

15 Mins – Teachers review all of pupil’s work. 15 Mins – Teachers discuss findings.

Developing Self-Evaluation Process.

Benefits of This Self-Evaluation process. Requires little time, effort and is sustainable. All teaching staff are involved in the process. A positive, non-threatening experience of reviewing

pupil learning for staff has been developed. Real opportunities of sharing of good practice has

been enhanced. Leadership and management within school has

gathered evidence on which to base decisions and develop strategies for improvement.

Pupil work shows evidence of improved learning since process began.
