Unter der Herrschaft von Ludwig XVI wird die

Form des Mobiliars wieder strenger, beruht aber

auf klassizistischen Einflüssen, wie man auch an

der Verwendung antiker Ornamente sieht. In

dieser Zeit wird sehr auf eine edle Ausführung

und Verarbeitung geachtet, besonders wird die

Kunst der Intarsie verfeinert. Im Gegensatz zu

den Prunkmöbeln vorhergehender Epochen, ist

dem bürgerlichen Louis XVI-Mobiliar eine schlichte

Eleganz eigen.

Typisch für diese Epoche sind die senk rechten

Kannellierungen an den Lisenen, sowie die

kunstvollen, handwerklich zusammen gesetzten

Furnierbilder.

Sotto il regno di Louis XVI, il mobile si evolve in

maniera considerevole per l‘eleganza e l‘originalità

delle sue forme. L‘originalità della decorazione

mediante intagli ed intarsi impiallacciate consiste nel

giocare con le venature del legno e nel raccordarle

nei modi più disparati.

Tipici per questa collezione sono gli ornamenti

impiallacciati a spina a pesce, intarsiati policromi e

le scanalature sui fianchi.

During the reign of Louis XVI, furniture forms

once again became more strict but were based

upon classical influences, as is also seen by the

use of antique ornaments. During this time, great

attention was paid to fine execution and finishing,

and the art of the inlay was especially refined. In

contrast to the sumptuous furniture of preceding

stylistic eras, the rational Louis XVI furnishings are

typified by a simple elegance.

Typical for this stylistic period is the vertical fluting

of the pilasters, as well as the artful veneer images

that are assembled by hand.

Holz und Verarbeitung

Die Massivteile der Collection Bernini (Kranz, Sockel, Rahmen und Profilleisten) sind

aus Red Alder/Rot Erle (Alnus rubra) gefertigt, einem der wichtigsten Laubhölzer

der nordamerikanischen Westküste und einzige amerikanische Erlenart mit hohen

Nutzholzdimensionen. Fronten, Seitenteile, sichtbare Rückwände und Platten sind

in Kirschbaumholz bunt furniert (beplankt). Die Furnierstreifen werden „bunt“ im

Furnierbild zusammengesetzt. Die handwerkliche Herstellungsweise und der massive

Charakter der Möbelstücke wird dadurch besonders hervorgehoben. Einige Platten,

Tür- und Ladenfronten sind in Kreuzfugentechnik bunt furniert. Farbige Intarsien in

Nussbaum, Ahorn und Kirschbaum.

Besonders beachtenswert ist die hochwertige, handwerkliche Verarbeitung jedes

einzelnen Möbelstückes. Die traditionelle Handwerksqualität kommt besonders durch

einige Details wie Intarsien, Kannelierungen an den Lisenen und Zinkenverbindung der

Schubladen zur Geltung.

Zierbeschläge

Großen Wert legen wir auf die sorgfältige Abstimmung der Zierbeschläge, um

den besonderen Stil dieser Kollektion zu unterstreichen. Für die Collection Bernini

verwenden wir wertvolle Zierbeschläge in Messing, antikisiert und brüniert.

Einlegeböden

Alle sichtbaren Einlegeböden aus Holz und Glas sind verstellbar bzw. abnehmbar. Die

Glaseinlegeböden der Vitrinen haben einen massiven Holzrahmen. Glaseinlegeböden

haben eine Stärke von 8 mm. Holzeinlegeböden für Regale haben eine Stärke von 25

mm, alle restlichen Holzeinlegeböden haben eine Stärke von 17 mm. Die Messingträger

können in den vorgegebenen Positionen eingesetzt werden.

Die Türverglasung ist mit Facettenschliff.

Beleuchtung

Alle Vitrinen der Collection Bernini haben Innenbeleuchtung mit dem Prüfzeichen

VDE und entsprechen den EU-Normen für Transformatoren und Halogenstrahler. Bei

Überhitzung der Strahler schalten die Lampen automatisch ab.

CURA DEL DETTAGLIO

Legni e lavorazione

Le parti massicce della collezione Bernini (corpo, cimasa, cornici, basamento e profili)

sono realizzate in Red Alder (Alnus Rubra), un legno di latifoglie tra i più diffusi della

costa occidentale del Nord America e che è l’unico albero, appartenente alla specie

dell’Ontano, presente in notevole quantità. Frontali, parti laterali, schienali a vista e piani

sono impiallacciati in ciliegio dogato. “Impiallacciatura dogata” consiste nel comporre i

fogli di impiallaccio in maniera alternata a diverse larghezze. Questa produzione artigianale

trasmette al mobile un carattere massiccio e fa risaltare la sapienza costruttiva dei nostri

artigiani. Alcuni piani e i pannelli di porte e cassetti sono impiallacciati in ciliegio 4/4 dogato.

Intarsi policromi in noce, acero e ciliegio.

La collezione Bernini si contraddistingue per la particolare cura Artigianale posta nella

lavorazione di ogni singolo esemplare e richiama la tradizionale arte della costruzione del

mobile. In particolare gli intarsi, le scanalature lungo le lesene, i cassetti con giunture a coda

di rondine testimoniano la grande abilità dei nostri artigiani.

Ferramenta ornamentale

Per sottolineare il carattere proprio di ogni collezione, la scelta della giusta ferramenta

ornamentale è determinante. Abbiamo impreziosito la collezione Bernini con particolari in

ottone burnito ed anticato.

Ripiani

I ripiani sono realizzati in legno o vetro, sono mobili o regolabili a diverse altezze. I ripiani in

legno vengono realizzati in 2 spessori: 25 mm per le librerie, 17 mm per tutti gli altri mobili.

I ripiani in cristallo sono 8 mm di spessore e inseriti su telaio in legno. I perni reggiripiani in

ottone si possono inserire in più posizioni lungo i fianchi del mobile.

Le ante delle vetrine sono in cristallo molato.

Illuminazione

Tutte le vetrine della collezione Bernini sono dotate di illuminazione interna secondo le

norme CEI e sono in linea con le norme UE per i trasformatori e fari alogeni. In caso di

surriscaldamento le lampade si spengono automaticamente.

LOVE OF DETAIL

Woods and Workmanship

The solid sections of the Collection Bernini (such as cornices, bases, frames, and mouldings)

are made from red alder (Alnus rubra), one of the most important woods from deciduous

trees from the West Coast of North America and the only American type of alder used

for utilizable timber on a commercial scale. Fronts, side sections, visible back walls, and

panels are veneered with variegated cherry (planked). The veneer strips are assembled in

a “variegated” pattern in the veneer formation. In so doing, the handcrafted production

method and the solid character are especially emphasized. The veneered surfaces of the

cabinet-type furniture (side sections, partitions, paneling, and shelves) are over blockboard.

Especially noteworthy is the high-quality, handcrafted finish of every individual piece. The

traditional handcrafted quality is especially shown to its best advantage through certain

special details, such as the inlays, the fluting of the pilasters, and the dovetail of the

drawers.

Decorative Fittings

We have always attached great importance to the careful coordination of the decorative

fittings with the furniture, in order to underscore the unique style of each collection. For the

Collection Bernini we use high-quality, decorative fittings in brass that have been antiqued

and burnished.

Shelving

All visible shelves made from wood or glass are adjustable as well as removable. Glass

shelves in the china cabinets have a frame of solid wood. Glass shelves have a thickness of

8 mm (0.315 inch). Wooden shelves in bookcases have a thickness of 25 mm (0.984 inch),

all other wooden shelves have a thickness of 17 mm (0.669 inch). The brass supports may

be used in the positions provided.

The doors are glazed with faceted crystal glass.

Lighting

All china cabinets of the Collection Bernini have interior lighting which carries the inspection

mark VDE and complies with EU specifications for transformers and halogen lamps. Lamps

will switch off automatically in the event of overheating.
