This portion of the assignment is an Individual one, not a group or partner assignment. Worth: 20 points. Note: All questions must be answered. Answers should also reflect incorporation of professional and ethical foundations reflected in the Nurse Practice Act and other nursing literature (textbooks, professional nursing organizations). 1. At least one week prior to seminar; the case study will be posted for review. 2. Focused learning questions will be posted throughout the case study for the individual student to prepare a readiness response. 3. Responses to the questions should be insightful and show evidence of critical thinking. Evidence based research is used to research the answers and must be cited per APA format, (spacing and numbering, title page, short background, sub-titles for each section, and resources cited appropriately). A minimum of three reliable scholarly references must be provided that is no more than 5 years old. 4. No more than 15% of the paper should be cited quotes from the resources used. Please know that the case studies may be submitted to “Turnitin.com” and checked against a similarity index of resources and other student’s assignments. If sources are not cited and appropriately attributed to the author your assignment will be given a zero grade and may be considered plagiarized. Please be sure you are familiar with the academic integrity policy in your Nursing Program Policy manual.
