BRACE CLASS - Two dogs of the same Breed or Variety of Breed with one or more common owner and both dogs must be entered in another class.

STUD DOG CLASS - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in one of the regular classes, or if a Champion of Record in Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class, the Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog shall be considered as one entry and requires one entry fee, this being the regular fee plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged on the merits of the Get. BROOD BITCH CLASS - Same as for the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION NOVICE JUNIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of the show who at the

time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awardsH, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

NOVICE INTERMEDIATE CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awardsH, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

MASTER CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 18 years of age on the day of the show and who have won ten (10) Best Junior Handler awards with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and must change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed, all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year.

H A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition counts as one win towards moving to Open.

The AKC National Owner-Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited by their owners that are not professional handlers.

“DON’T FORGET TO CHECK THE OWNER-HANDLED BOX ON THE

ENTRY FORM IF ENTERING THIS COMPETITION.”

All dogs that are owner-handled and are not exhibited in the National Owner-Handled Series by professional handlers* meet the requirements for this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner-Handled eligible at the time of entry using the check box on the entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the steward’s book & the catalog. Dogs must be handled throughout the breed level competition for the regular show by an eligible owner. Professional handlers, household members and current assistants to professional handlers may not exhibit the dog in any AKC National Owner-Handled Series competition during the entire show. A current assistant is defined by anyone employed by a professional handler on a full-time basis, or assisting a professional handler at the show or any show during the clus-ter/weekend, however current assistants that are eligible to compete in Junior Showmanship (meet age and amateur status requirements) may participate in NOHS. Owner-Handled Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs that are competing in the Best of Breed competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes. The breed will not be represented in the Owner-Handled Group if there is no eligible dog compet-ing in the Best of Breed, or in Best of Winners competition. *Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional han-dlers’ organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay within the last five years.

AKC Sanctioned Beginner Puppy Competition! Section 1- Classifications The Four-to-Six Month Puppy competition shall be for dogs that are four months of age and over but under six months on the day of the event. Classes will be offered for breeds and varieties and divided into Groups as described in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows and the Miscellaneous Class breeds as listed in Chapter 3, Section 23. The Miscellaneous class competition will be the equivalent of Group com-petition and the winner will be eligible to compete in Best Four-to-Six Month Puppy in Show. The FSS com-petition will be the equivalent of Group competition and the winner will be eligible to compete in Best Four-to-Six Month Puppy in Show. Section 2 – Entry and Eligibility Entry and eligibility requirements include:

• The Four-to-Six Month Puppy event may be offered at licensed or member dog shows at the option of the show giving club.

• Four-to-Six Month Puppy Competition must be listed in the premium list, entry form and judging schedule, if offered.

• AKC registration number or an AKC litter number will be required for all entries of an AKC recognized breed as listed in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows.

• A foreign born dog may enter this class if they are registered in the country of origin. • FSS number or FSS registered litter number will be required for Miscellaneous and FSS breed entries. • All entrants are to be vaccinated (including rabies) in accordance with their veterinarian’s protocol. • Dogs that are owned or co-owned by a professional handler may compete in this class, but must be

handled by a non-professional handler. Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers’ organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay within the last five years. Dogs may not be exhibited by current assistants and household members of a professional handler.

The Pee Wee Special Attraction is a pre-Junior Showmanship class. The Pee Wee class is geared toward children 5 to under 9 years of age at all shows offering Pee Wee.

Each Pee Wee unit consists of the child, his/her parent/guardian/responsible adult, and the dog. Only one Pee Wee unit is in the ring at a time. This is not a competitive class, but rather a fun, learning experience for the child and the adult.

• A dog must be at least four months of age to enter the Pee Wee class.

• Bitches in season will not be allowed to participate. If pre-entered, a dog may be sub-stituted that meets the eligibility requirements as specified by the club.

• All dogs entered must have the proper lead and collar.

• A responsible adult must be present with the child both inside and outside the ring. The adult is to maintain control of the dog outside of the ring.

• At an All-Breed event, all AKC fully recognized and Miscellaneous Class breeds are allowed to enter, including dogs with a PAL listing.

• Dogs must be registered.

• In addition to an entry, a release must be signed by the child’s parent or legal guardian. Release forms will be available at the show.

The safety of both the dogs and Juniors inside and outside the ring is a primary con-cern. Outside of the ring, the dog is to be controlled by the adult accompanying the child. An additional lead, provided by the Club, will be at the Judge’s table. At the Judge’s discretion based upon the size of the child and the dog, for safety purposes the adult may be asked to attach a second lead to the dog so both child and adult will walk the dog together.

Although the word “judge” will be used, this is designed to be a learning and mentor-ing experience—no Junior will be “judged” but rather will be mentored with the age-appropriate amount of information to help prepare them for what they will be expected to know about AKC regular Junior Showmanship once they reach 9 years of age. The children will be mentored one child, their adult, and dog in the ring at a time. Each child will receive a participation ribbon to commemorate the experience!

The Judge should explain the process of showing the dog to the Junior and the responsible adult in the ring including breed specific presentation. Depending on the size of the dog and the child, the adult may be asked to lift a table breed on or off the table, or the Club may mandate that the adult should do it regardless. Neither the youngster nor the adult should be asked to show the bite.

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS The American Boxer Club, Inc., the Boxer Club of Oklahoma, Inc. & the Seminole Kennel Club, Inc. do not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for this event. The clubs reserve the right to retain Event Committee jurisdiction over exhibitors whose names have been referred by hotels/motels as having left their rooms and/or grounds in a state that appears negligent or offensive.

A. SHOW FACILITY: The fairgrounds intends to have the concession stand open for all shows. Check on hours. No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products may be brought into the building. The show build-ing is climate controlled.

The Show Site will be available to exhibitors at 12:00 NOON Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Dogs must be removed from the Exhibit Hall following Best in Show judging on Sunday, October 20, 2019. PLEASE KEEP AISLES, DRIVEWAYS & UNLOADING AREAS OPEN.

EX-PENS: No pens used to exercise dogs will be allowed in the show building. The number of outside pens may be limited.

B. SHOW PARKING at fairgrounds. GENERAL: All parking areas are paved. General parking is free. The parking lot at the south end of the show building is reserved for Judges, Ring Stewards & Club Officials. No parking on north end of building - fire lanes.

There will be Handicapped Parking available. Please advise us if your party has special needs. Violation of parking limitations or failure to remove vehicles from designated no parking areas or failure to move vehicles immediately when Event Committee requests may result in tickets, fines & towed vehicles. ANIMALS IN CLOSED VEHICLE MAY BE REMOVED OR IMPOUNDED IF IN DANGER.

There are reserved areas of parking for RV’s, trailers, around power poles, etc.

OPEN PARKING at fairgrounds - There is plenty of vehicle parking in the lot East of the show building. UTILITY TRAILERS, CAMPERS WITHOUT HOOKUPS - no fee. Please park campers with no reserved hook-up and empty utility trailers on the far East row - East of RV’s if you can. (Lots of grass there for walking and ex-pens.) Free RV parking with NO hookup available in designated area of public parking. PLEASE ASK FOR LOCATION.

SPACES AT POWER POLES in the parking lot are reserved for Vans & Dog Trucks - $30.00/night. These are limited to 4 trucks or vans per pole. NO piggyback allowed by fairgrounds.

RV PARKING - RESERVED: See Page 17 NON-RESERVED RV PARKING with hook-up - In addition to the reserved parking with Seminole KC, the Heart of Oklahoma facility has 2 other RV/Trailer parking areas. 1) The RV Park is North of the show building. It has 4 comfort stations and a dump station. It is all grass & gravel pull through (ideal for horses). 2) There is a gravel RV lot on the South with electric & water only, no other facilities. Spaces in both of these are “first come - first served” with full hook-ups for $25.00 per night payable to the fairgrounds.

SHOW & GO CRATING: Please remember other exhibitors also need to use this space. Don’t leave crate/dogs at ringside longer than absolutely necessary. No grooming will be allowed at ring side. Temporary crating at ringside may be available in designated areas at the discretion of the show-giving club FOR PURPOSES OF SHOW-ING ONLY. Dogs in this/these area(s) must be in crates; cannot be left unattended (except for the agent being in the ring); may arrive no more than 15 minutes before judg-ing for that breed. No more than one large crate or dolly per exhibitor. Crates must be removed immediately after showing or after 20 minutes from the time the last dog of that breed is in the ring. NO crates will be allowed to stay in this area overnight. No crating allowed on the West Wall of the arena, the aisle must be kept open. GROOMING AREAS ARE IN THE SHOW BUILDING.

RV/TRAILERS/CAMPERS PLEASE NOTE All RVs (UNITS) must have working fire extinguisher & check valve for backflow prevention on the fresh water tank. Discharge of grey water or sanitary waste except at dump station is prohibited. Expens must be kept clean.

C. TROPHIES: The Clubs reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

MEDIA: PUBLICATION RIGHTS: By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event, shall belong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, includ-ing the use of the names, likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition. It is expressly understood that exhibitors will exercise control & restraint over their children at all times. Parents will be responsible for the safety of their children & damages don by their children. The Kennel Clubs are not responsible for the actions of products sold by the commercial vendors at these shows. F. USE OF RAMPS: A Judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secre-tary prior to judging. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp). Ramps can be used in emergency situation to judge any breed. In an emergency situation an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund. The following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp: Lagotto Romagnolo, American Water Spaniels, Clumber Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Cirneco dell’Etna, Grand Basset Griffon Vendeens, Standard Schnauzers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Finnish Spitz, Keeshonden, Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, Finnish Lapphunds, Icelandic Sheepdogs, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Spanish Water Dogs and Norrbottenspets (Misc). The following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets. The following breed may be judged on a ramp or on a table: Mudi The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows. E. AKC FEES: A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 1st Entry & $3.00 additional entry of same dog will be required for each entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 3) These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS. There will be no refund for duplicate entries. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs allowed in rings during judging only. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendents will be responsible or oblig-ated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the pres-ence of their dogs in the judging rings. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil distur-bances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent. The show giving Club, the Show Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc, assume no responsibili-ty for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its accep-tance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures or the “Agreement” on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. Refunds of $3.00 & less will not be issued due to the costs of processing. An administrative fee of $2.00 will be charged for all cancellations or changes made prior to closing of entries. AGREEMENT I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In con-sideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety

you are entering i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color). Beagles (not exceeding 13 in. over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.). Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard), Collies (rough, smooth),

The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owner’s records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose champi-onships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC (For complete rules refer to Chapter 11, Section 3).

5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine Partners Listed Dog “All-American Dog/Mixed Breed.” Sire and Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.
