World History Transition6th grade World History Course:

Begins- Academic Year 2012-2013

What does this mean for 9th grade World History?Until 2015-2016 the 9th grade World History course:

*Needs to cover a portion of the old CBC’s (the part related to ancient civilizations)

*Pacing Guides have been updated accordingly*Academic year 2015-2016- the ancient civilization units

will be removed from the pacing guides and the course will fully transition to NGSSS-SS

11th Grade U.S. HistoryNGSSS-SS transition is complete

*See outline for early history review (compliments of Miami Senior High School)

*Pacing Guides- Updated to include stand alone lessons for the EOC tested benchmarks

*Quizzes/Assessments- posted on Edusoft*More details and resources to be discussed today
