The Lending Cart will be available outside
the Senior Center on Mondays and
Thursdays from 12pm-2pm through
October 29, 2020. Call the senior center
at 330-686-1325 to see if they have a
particular author or genre you enjoy
before you come and Cindy will see what
we have available. Items you wish to
return should be placed on the bottom of
the cart. Please only take items from the
top of the cart, which will have been
sanitized.
Drive In Bingo at the Senior Center
September 9 & September 23
1:30pm-2:30pm
$5.00 for 6 games
Let’s get out of the house and play some bingo!
A limited amount of parking spaces will be
available to play for each time slot. We will
provide you with all of the necessary supplies for
the game, including prizes for the winners!
All passengers in the car must be registered to play.

Crafts will be at a beginner to intermediate
skill level.

Boxed Dinner at 4:30pm
Music starts at 5:00pm ~ Cost: $10
So much fun, we’re going to do it again! Join
us at Lakeview Pavilion at Silver Springs for
some live entertainment and a boxed meal.
Bring your lawn chair and sing along to the
sounds of The Good Knights. We will adhere
to social distancing requirements and ask if
you would like to sit near friends that you
arrive together. Registration required.

Plant Exchange
Drop off: Tuesday, October 13 ~ 11am
Staggered pick up times on
Wednesday, October 14 beginning at 1pm
Looking to enhance your garden for next
year for free? We can help with that! Join
us for the Plant Exchange at the senior
center. When you give a plant, you get a
plant someone else donated in exchange.
Participants can bring up to three plants,
including perennials, bulbs or seeds. You
will be given a time to pick out your
plants during drop off. Location: Stow

Drive through the City Hall parking lot and
pick up a pizza for lunch courtesy of Kent
Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Registration
is required for the event, but it is FREE for
our seniors.

Zoom Halloween Cookie Decorating
with Bath Creek Estates and Hopelessly
Sweet Treats
Tuesday, October 20 at 1:00pm
Participants will receive a bakery box of 4
cookies and all of the supplies needed to
decorate. Instruction will be led by Jenny from
Bath Creek Estates and friends at Hopelessly
Sweet Treats. Bakery boxes available beginning
Monday, October 19 at 12:00pm. Registration
required by Thursday, October 16.
Zoom is a video conference service used
to virtually meet with others. To
participate, you will need an email
address and one of the following:

Join Bob from Danbury Senior Living for a fun
hour of brain games including logic puzzles, word
riddles and out of the box thinking. Participants
must register and pick up their packets of
puzzles to play beginning August 31– September
3 at the Parks and Recreation offices.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Lunch and Learn Series
Every Wednesday in September 1-2pm
Each week, a different topic will be discussed. Weekly topics include differentiating types
of Dementia, feeding difficulties, assessments, adapting activities and care for the
caregiver. Please contact Samantha at the Alzheimer’s Association for more information or
