Cole M. Rivers Fish Hatchery Day Trip

Please join us on Wednesday, June 8th, for a guided tour of the fish hatchery. Cole M. Rivers Hatchery was constructed by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1973 and serves as hatchery for the Rogue River. After our tour, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Mac’s Diner in

Shady Cove. The cost of the trip is $10 and payment is due at the time of reservation. Please bring $$ for lunch. Space is limited so please drop by the Senior Program Office to make a reservation or call 488-5342. We will meet at the Senior Center at 8:30 am and leave promptly at 8:45.

Medication Management Therapy Monday, June 20th, beginning at 12:30 pm

Sign up to meet with a Pharmacist who will review your medications with you. The Pharmacist can answer questions and identify which of your medications you may no longer need. Ap-pointments are limited so please stop by the Senior Center or call 488-5342 to reserve a spot.

Legal & Financial Planning for the LGBT* Senior Community

Please join Cheri Sperber as she guides you through legal and financial planning for the LGBT Senior Community who struggle through the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. This presentation focuses on learning about important legal and financial issues, how to put plans in place, and how to access resources near you. Offered in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. Topics will include:

Making legal plans that fit your needs

Legal documents you will need and what they mean for you

How to find legal and financial assistance

Practical strategies for making a long-term plan for care

Government programs that can help pay for care

*This presentation will have special emphasis for the LGBT Senior Community, but all are welcome
