Dear Senior Portfolio Committee,

I have been a student attending Buckingham for all four years of high school and it has

made me prepared to continue my education. My portfolio contains samples of my work that

show my readiness for graduation and college.

In 2016, and I believe that I have learned the skills that I will need to be successful with

my post-secondary education, career, and the rest of my life. Attending Buckingham has

allowed me to work with technology and become adept with computers. From the social science

classes I have taken, I have a good understanding of the history of the US and the rest of the

world. I have learned much from the science and math courses I have taken at the school, and

these classes showed me what I want to have a career in. I have taken Spanish and French

classes that allow me to communicate in multiple languages. At Buckingham, I made life-long

friends and learned valuable social skills that will help me for the rest of my life. Most of all, the

school has taught me how to manage my time, and become an efficient worker.

 After graduation, I plan on going directly to a four year college. I want to obtain a degree

in a science or in mathematics, so that I can get a career that I will enjoy. At Buckingham, I

realized how interested I am in those subjects, and that I would like to work with them for the

rest of my life.

I am very happy with my years at Buckingham, and the important lessons I have learned

here. It has shaped me into a much more mature and hardworking person, and I know that what

I have learned at this school will allow me to become a successful adult. I am grateful for your

time and I hope for your approval of my portfolio.
