Creating a museum focused on promoting the safety of people during tornadoes would benefit the population in education citizens of the tornado danger. This museum would provide a historical reference for visitors of all ages that would explain the history of Tuscaloosa.

Residental Design

This advanced residental project concentrated on the renovation of a historic home built cir-ca 1809 located in Moundville, Alabama. The deliverables for the project required measuring, documenting, drafting and compiling Auto-Cad floor plans, elevations, sections, millwork drawings, and Sketchup renderings. The retired couple recently purchased the historic home with plans to revive the house’s character.

HOME THEATER

The couple requested specific rooms designated to the space planning of their newly purchased home. One of the spaces the couple requested was the creation of a home theater. Originally, the couple wanted to design the home theater in a smaller up-stairs room but after consideration, I proposed to combine two rooms for spatial purposes. My design incorporated demolishing a wall separating existing rooms in order to expand the home theater.

Commercial Office Design

The objective of this project was to design a functional office for cre-ative minds. Research has been conducted that linksto worker produc-tivity that attributes to the layout of office spaces. I am proposing to design an office space that is highly versatile to account for technology advancements and dif-fering employee person-ality types.

Upon entering the office, there is a touchdown space for employees/ guests to surf the web or accomplish simple tasks before meetings. Featured above, is Steelcase’s Nomads Campfire 01. Below, from left to right is the office floor plan of the proposed Bohan Inc. office. Above, is the company’s conference room with video conferencing capabilities. At the bottom right, is the compa-ny’s lobby design.
