DARIAH = Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities

Aims to develop and maintain an infrastructure in support of ICT-based research practices across the arts and humanities

Enhancing and supporting digitally enabled research across the arts and humanities

Exchange knowledge, expertise, methodologies and practices across domains and disciplines

Link distributed digital source materials of many kinds

Explore and apply ICT-based methods and tools to enable new research questions to be asked and old questions to be posed in new ways

How will we achieve this?

An interoperability layer that connects resource providers, also to outside providers such is Bamboo

A package of software and consultancy/training, which supports emerging DARIAH centres in establishing their own technology environment quickly

Technical consultancy and tutorials that help existing humanities data archives to link their systems into the DARIAH network
