The Cave

What do I see? • The cave

was pitch black. As dark as the night sky without any stars.

• Crystal clear water.

• Sticky, silky cobwebs.

• Dark green squishy, slimy mould.

• Dark brown narrow cave walls.

• Small glimpse of light.

• A long, orange, venomous snake.

What do I hear?• The soft

squeak of a mouse.

• Slow, repetitive, water droplets. It sounds like a wet rainy day.

• Endless echo of my voice calling hello.

• The sound of crumbling rocks breaking off the cave walls.• Crunching

leaves under my feet.

• The faint slithering of a snake

What do I Smell?

• I can smell the terrible stench of the mould.

• I smelled the salty water in the damp cave.

• The surroundings smelled damp and old with age.

• The mould on the cave walls smelled like a swamp

What do I Feel?• I feel eight

hairy legs crawling on my neck.

• I can feel the smooth scales of a snake wrapping around my ankles.

• Ice-cold water.

• Goosebumps all over my body from the crisp cold breeze.

• I feel the uneven, rough, bumpy, sharp, spiky, jagged edges of the cave walls

What do I Taste?• The bland

taste of saliva.

• The stale, humid air.

• The bitter taste of the cold muddy water.

• The salty taste from the tears that rolled down my cheek.

• The wet moist air.
