At the end of September, ACCION Network Partners and Affiliated institutions Active Portfolio is located at 5,157.4 million, reaching 4,845,126 Active Clients even when data of Crediamigo is available as of August. The PAR>30 days reflected: 4.07%. Related to the end of previous year, Active Clients increased 649,123 (15.1%) and Loan Portfolio grew at 643.9 USD million (13.9%). The Portfolio at Risk indicator had an increase of 0.15 points (Indicator came from 3.92% as of December 2010 to 4.07% as of September 2011). The percentage growth in Active Clients compared to the end of December and according to the grouping shown by the report, was presented as follows: Africa and Asia group reflected the biggest growth (22.5%), followed by NGO´s with (15%), Regulated institutions with (14.9%) and finally Service Companies with 14.6%. The percentage growth in terms of Active Portfolio was reflected as follows: The biggest growth was registered by Service Companies with a 31.4% followed by Africa and Asia group with 16.5%, then Regulated Institutions (12.3%) and finally NGO’s with 5.9%. Portfolio at Risk indicator registered the following changes: NGO´s Group (2.36 points), Partners in Asia and Africa with 0.77 points and Service Companies with 0.75 points; in contrast Regulated Institutions was the only group that increase their ratio (0.34). Related to Africa and Asia affiliates, the institutions which reflected higher growth in this variable were: EAMF/Cameroon (85.9% represented by 0.7 million) and ACCION Microfinance China "AMC" / China (60.9% represented by 2.2 million). The institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean that had higher growth in terms of Active clients over December 2010 were: Sogesol/Haiti (88.5% represented by 10,159 clients), Bandelta/Panama (45% represented by 3,001 clients) and Fama/Nicaragua (31.3% represented by 8,225 clients). Related to Associates in Africa and Asia, the institutions that are distinguished by the growth in this indicator are: EAMF Cameroon (294.1% = 1,756 clients) and ACCION Microfinance China “AMC” / China (39.2% reflected by 224 clients). The three institutions that improved their portfolio quality indicator during third quarterly 2011: Sogesol/Haiti (21.19 points), Mario Santodomingo Foundation (10.46 points), and Financiera Fama/Nicaragua (4.81 points).

  At  the  end  of  September,  ACCION  Network  Partners  and Affiliated  institutions Active Portfolio  is  located  at 5,157.4 million,  reaching 4,845,126 Active Clients even when data of  Crediamigo  is  available  as  of August.  The  PAR>30 days reflected: 4.07%.  

Related to the end of previous year, Active Clients increased 649,123  (15.1%)  and  Loan  Portfolio  grew  at  643.9  USD million  (13.9%).  The  Portfolio  at  Risk  indicator  had  an increase  of  0.15  points  (Indicator  came  from  3.92%  as  of December 2010 to 4.07% as of September 2011). 

The  percentage  growth  in Active  Clients  compared  to  the end of December and according to the grouping shown by the report, was presented as follows: Africa and Asia group reflected  the  biggest  growth  (22.5%),  followed  by  NGO´s with  (15%), Regulated  institutions with  (14.9%) and  finally Service Companies with 14.6%.

*Regulated Institutions increased their active clients in 556,972 (14.9%). In absolute terms, Compartamos/Mexico reflected the largest increase in this variable of 282,036 (14.4%). On the other hand, this group grew its active portfolio in 487 million (12.3%) and Mibanco/Peru reflected the highest growth: 137.5 million (10.6%).

 *Service Companies grew in 42,580 clients (14.6%). In absolute terms, Credife/Ecuador was the institution with the highest increase: 18,891 active clients (20.2%). On the other hand, In terms of Active Portfolio, the group grew at a rate of 31.4% represented in 141.5 million and also, Credife/Ecuador was the institution from the group that recorded the highest growth in terms of this variable with 114.5 million (36.9%).

*NGO´s grew by 27,599 clients (15%). In absolute terms, the increase was registered because of Génesis Empresarial/Guatemala that registered a growth of 24,611 clients (19%). In terms of active portfolio, this variable increased 5.7 million (5.9%) but it was not such a significant growth due that Fundación Mario Santo Domingo reduced at 7.1 million but on the other hand, Génesis Empresarial/Guatemala reflected the highest and only one increase from this group: 11.4 million (17.5%).

 *Africa and Asia Group grew  in 21,972 clients (22.5%). In absolute terms, Swadhaar/India was the institution with the highest increase: 16,997 active clients (37.8%). In terms of Active Portfolio, the group grew at a rate of 16.5% represented in 9.7 million and also Swadhaar was the institution from the group that recorded the highest growth in terms of this variable with 2.7 million (31.9%).

 PORTFOLIO AT RISK > 30 DAYS – COMPARISON DECEMBER 2010 / SEPTEMBER 2011 

• Regulated Institutions, registered a low increase in their PAR>30 days by increasing 0.34 percentage points, however, this indicator is located over the total weighted average indicator from all institutions by 0.21 points. 

• Service Companies decreased in ‐0.75 percentage points; however, the indicator is located below the total weighted average indicator from all institutions by 1.72 points. 

• NGO´s group improved this indicator by decreasing ‐2.36 percentage points and during this period, this group is the one located below the total weighted Average. 

• Africa and Asia institutions decreased this indicator by ‐0.77 percentage points. However, this group still continues being the one located above the total weighted Average by (0.85 points).
