As we celebrate our 10th year,
there will be…
Before we take a look at the new
location, new activities & new
opportunities in greater detail, we
want to address the question you
might be asking...
Why move from
Camp Cedar Lake in Big Bear, CA
to Pine Valley Bible Conference
Center in Pine Valley, CA?
The main reason we are moving
is to lean into an enlarged vision
God has given us for SEP So Cal
by expanding the programming,
the housing and the accessibility
of the camp.
Let’s take a look at how
moving to Pine Valley Bible
Conference Center (PVBCC)
supports this enlarged
vision.
PVBCC is approx. 40 miles East of San Diego &
even though it is farther south, is a much easier
drive because it is mostly freeway (no mtn. roads)

The San Diego airport is
less than an hour away.
Last year our campers and
staff came from 9 states
and 2 countries.

PVBCC has
10 meeting halls/rooms
on campus
(that is 6 more rooms than we had
to work with last year)
Here are some photos . . .

• Simply HUGE!

Seats 350+
This increased number of
meeting halls/rooms
will allow us to expand our
programming in many ways.
www.pvbcc.org
PVBCC also has more camper housing
Could increase enrollment by 30 to 200 campers
(we are currently maxed out at 170)
Would have 20 Dorm Rooms (12 people / room)
Could have a JR camp of 100
and a SR camp of 100
(Oh, by the way, ALL the dorms have inside
bathrooms so no more trips to the bath house
in the middle of the night!)
www.pvbcc.org
PVBCC has a lot more housing for support staff
(staff that are not counselors)
40 Lodge / Motel style rooms
www.pvbcc.org
Having the extra housing will allow us to have
Dorm Parents. What are Dorm Parents? They are
mature adults who can pay for their room & board
and dedicate a week to ministering to the youth at
camp in various capacities – such as spending time
with a dorm while the counselor takes a break.
www.pvbcc.org
The Dining Hall can seat 270 inside (plus outside seating)
There is A LOT of parking and driving around camp is
easy. (campus map coming in a moment…)

PVBCC has an awesome paintball course
- costs $15 per player (ages 12+)
– Includes two (2) twenty-minute games, a marker, a
mask, a neck guard, and 100 paintballs per game (200
paintballs for groups of 30+)
www.pvbcc.org
PVBCC allows fires in their fire pits for ‘fireside chats’
and evening marshmallow roasts
www.pvbcc.org
PVBCC has . . .
Fenced in 4 basketball hoop court
(outdoor lighting for night play)
Two volleyball nets, one sand and one grass
(outdoor lighting for night play)
Big grassy sports field for soccer, kick-ball,
softball, football, and field games

PVBCC has a sports field for games such as
soccer, football, softball & more!
