WELCOME

Westminster Presbyterian Church is a covenant family of believers called by God to fulfill His purposes here in Laurel, and as a staging ground for worldwide kingdom growth where we seek to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ – to fill the earth with disciples, subdue it redemptively for God’s glory, and worship Him joyfully. We are being redeemed and equipped by the Spirit to build up one another until the Lord returns.

MAJESTY

CORPORATE PRAYER OF CONFESSION Our Father, forgive us for thinking small thoughts of You and for ignoring Your immensity and greatness. Lord Jesus, forgive us when we forget that You rule the nations, our city, our families, and our lives. Holy Spirit, we offend You by minimizing Your power and squandering Your gifts. We confess that our blindness to Your glory has resulted in half-hearted worship, indifference towards our neighbors, unfaithfulness to Your mission, tepid conviction, and shallow repentance. Forgive us and make us clean, so that we can obey Your call, take up Your cross and follow You, and live for the glory of Your name. It is in Jesus’ name we pray.

Sunday School Teachers needed: Sunday School for our families and little ones is returning! As a reminder, our Sunday School classes are divided into the following age groups: K4-K5, 1st-3rd Grade and 4th-6th Grade. We currently have openings for Sunday School teachers for our K4-K5 group and our 4th-6th grade group. Our curriculum with Great Commission Publication is low prep and easy to use. Talk to Kristen if you have any questions about your child’s Sunday School class or any interest in teaching!”

Sunday School and Nursery will start back at regularly scheduled times on September 27th. More information to follow.

Mother’s Morning Out will resume on Tuesday, October 29th from 7:30AM-3:30PM. Gail will be contacting parents to let them know how we will move forward using COVID 19 prevention guidelines.
