PriceWaterHouseCoopersThe firm which attended this week was PriceWaterHouseCoopers. Robert Conrad as well as over 10 representatives were able to share their knowledge concerning the firm. E&Y had five members of their South Florida Staff answering the members’ questions. Andrew Wetcher was the representative which answered a majority of the tax questions. Other representatives included: Eric Amaro, Raymond Rengifo, Darrell Campbell, & Silvia Sosa.

The most important line he shared with us that evening was: Intentions without Actions = Squat (not A=L+SE.) Chris was able to share more information concerning his current position at PWC during the discussions at the end of the presentation.

HACU- Hispanic Association of Colleges & UniversitiesHACU explained that there are multiple opportunities for students in our position. Reg-istering on their website (www.hacu.net) provides us with detailed information on scholar-ships as well as internships . HACU is currently working with Deloitte and other com-panies to provide internships to students worldwide. There are also minimal requirments, such as having a 3.0, being eligible to work in the United States, and a few others. He also mentioned that anyone can apply as long as you meet the requirments.
