We’ve made it to our one year anniver-

sary! What a fun and amazing ride it’s

been! In the past year, we have worked

with many Authors on different titles

and all kinds of writing styles. Whoso-

ever Press owner Nate Fortner even

had the opportunity to write an article

for the Brothers Keeper film that is

coming to theaters this November. An

excerpt from that article is on the

Whosoever Press has been present at

many local events this year and has

even been active in events around the

production company called Desert

Wind Films on an upcoming project

Brothers Keeper is coming to Boaz,

Alabama! Movie Producer Josh Mills

and Whosoever Press owner Nate

Fortner have been working hard to

ensure that it happens! Brothers

Keeper is a faith based film that deals

with the issue of forgiveness. Andy

and Pete Goodwyn have been side-by-

side since the womb. But that’s about

to change… Identical twins, they have

grown up watching out for one

another while avoiding the glares and

whispers that come with a small town

tragedy like the one that left them

orphans. Yet despite their bond, Andy

and Pete couldn’t be more different.

While Pete readily turns the other

cheek, Andy prefers an eye for eye. As

their high school graduation nears,

Pete plans to marry Maggie Maloye,

the love of his life, and head off to

seminary to become a preacher. Andy,

who wants nothing to do with God, has

no plans, no direction, and seemingly

no future. This too is about to change.

In a dizzying turn of events, Pete ends

up in jail framed for the murder of

Maggie. As Pete wrestles with God

about this cruel twist of fate– orches-

trated by the most powerful family in

town– Andy struggles to find a way to

help his brother. While revenge may

seem sweet, Brother’s Keeper is a

powerful reminder that only forgive-

ness can truly heal.

While walking this morning, I saw the

strangest sight.....several ladies with

bands around their knees , feet spread

apart .....walking ....it seemed following

their leader who was "urging them

on," I guess. I guess they were doing

"therapy" of some sort. Immediately, I

thought , "there is no way I would be

doing that out in public, why don't they

do that inside? It would be embarrass-

ing to me.... And then , in the still, small

voice I am learning to listen to .....my

Father God says to me..."don't criticize

what you don't understand .....WOW !

and then He so gently reminds me of

the blind man in the Bible that came to

Jesus for healing ....Jesus spat in the

dirt , made mud , and rubbed it in the

man’s eyes......and He was healed !!! I

wonder how many people would have

said that's crazy , ain't no way I'm

doing that!!!! hmmmmm..... Is Father

God taking you through a process you

don't understand or are you having to

deal with issues you never thought you

would? Are you tired and about to give

up? HOLD ON ........FATHER GOD ALONE

KNOWS exactly what "therapy"

"direction"...you need to get you to the

PURPOSE HE HAS IN MIND FOR YOUR

LIFE!......WE MAY NOT ALWAYS UNDER-

STAND HIS WAYS....but rest assured HE

knows what He is doing .......and in the

end .......it’s always for our good and

His glory.....and to help others along
