The next couple of months are going to be exciting as Dr. Dale Lunsford with LeTourneau University leads the Chamber’s inaugural Total Resource Campaign. This eight-week revenue generating effort kicks off on September 13, 2011 to reach a goal of $250,000 by November 9, 2011. The Total Resource Campaign will create 25 teams of volunteers under the leadership of five Vice Chairs: Darwin Winfield with Atmos Energy, Rogers Pope, Jr. with Texas Bank and Trust, David McWhorter with Gans & Smith Insurance Agency, Dr. James Wilcox with Longview Independent School District and a representative with Good Shepherd Health Systems. These Vice Chairs recruit volunteers to market sponsorships to Chamber events and publications, while also seeking new members for the Chamber. The all-volunteer Campaign consists of more than 600 sponsorships available during the Campaign. Volunteers assist companies with choosing options best suited to meet the organization’s marketing needs. “The TRC offers excellent exposure for companies both at the Chamber’s events and within our signature publications,” said Anne Hugman, Chairman of the Board. Teams are currently forming for the campaign. “The Campaign is a great way for volunteers to meet our area’s top community leaders and business owners while working directly with many of the Chamber’s most dedicated leadership,” suggested Dr. Lunsford, “so call Leska Parker, the Chamber’s Chief Operating Officer at 903- 237-4010 to take advantage of this great opportunity to get involved.” David McWhorter Dr. Dale Lunsford Dr. James Wilcox Darwin Winfield Rogers Pope, Jr.
