The renovation project is moving right on
schedule with plans for all 12 buildings to be
completed in March, 2016!
The 18 month time line factors in all 12 buildings plus the 4 garage building roof replacements. The new garage roofs on Roedean Drive are now pitched to the sunny side which will diminish the icing problems. The gable ends will be painted as soon as the weather permits. The last garage roof will be completed as weather permits. Building 5 New Haven was the first building to be completed and by far has exceeded most unit owners and residents’ expectations! Just a few punch-list items remain in this building as every detail is important to us.
All the contractors have worked hard to transform the once dark, dated, and run down hallways to a beautiful, bright and modern space. Some residents have commented that the renovations look like the interior of a “five-star hotel!”
The combination of detailed crown molding, chair railings, wide base board molding and new lighting have created an upscale appearance. New hardware, carpeting and freshly painted unit doors all coordinate well together.
The laundry rooms in each building will be repainted also have new lighting and new flooring installed. The washers and dryers will be moved when the new flooring is installed. Notices will be posted so residents can plan accordingly.
We have appreciated all the resident’s positive feedback and cooperation during construction.
Please continue to help us keep these newly renovated hallways free of doormats, shoes, boots and other personal belongings.

Service Dog Requirements
With respect to housing associated with persons with disabilities,
those arrangements are covered under the American with
Disabilities Act (ADA) and NH RSA 167-d. If the Condominium
Association has no pet (dog) policy, it may result in the Association
excluding persons with disabilities who use dogs as “service
animals.”
Under the ADA’s revised regulations and the companion New
Hampshire law, the definition of a “service animal” is limited to
a dog that is individually trained to work or perform tasks with
an individual with a disability. The task being performed by
the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.
For example, many people who are blind or have low vision use
dogs to guide and assist them with orientations. Many individuals
who are deaf use dogs to alert them to sounds; people with mobility
disabilities often use dogs to pull or retrieve items; people with
epilepsy may use a dog to warn them of an imminent seizure; and
individuals with psychiatric disabilities may use a dog to remind
them to take mediation.
The Association is within rights to ask for additional information in
order to determine whether the animal qualifies as a service animal
under the state and federal law.
If you can provide the board with the stipulations outlined by your primary care physician and/or physician’s office, the board will approve your request.
