o Finelite uses 96% reflective paint on all reflective surfaces of Series 15 for maximum efficiency.

Optical Performance

• Double Diffusing Optical Design - How it works

One ray of light travels from the lamp up to the upper reflector (A), which is 96% reflective, or (B) down to the micro prism.

When the ray goes through the micro prism it is duplicated and redirected, spreading one beam into many. 23% of the light passes through the perforations (C) for the downlight component.

Light also bounces off the 96% reflective finish between the perforations and is redirected back up into the micro prism where it is multiplied again. The majority of light goes out of the fixture (D) at low angles for optimal wide-angle distribution.

Other rays are redirected to the upper reflector where the light bounces again to repeat the process (E). The interaction between the micro prism and the perforations forms the double diffusing optical system. PATENT PENDING

• Series 15 is available with three mounting styles• FA Cables - the standard option is an FA50

aircraft cables which enables you to change suspension from 50” to 3”.

• Standoff Mount (SO) - The fixture is suspended on an attractive 3” stem.

• Surface Mount (SM) - S15 can also be mounted directly to the ceiling or walls.

Wall Mount

• S15 can be mounted directly on the wall either vertically or horizontally, making it ideal for illuminating stairwells.

Painted Finish

• Series 15 is finished in 96% reflective white powder coat paint for long lasting beauty and performance.

• Custom Finishes are not offered with S15 due to the impact on performance.

Precision-Made Aligner Sleeve

• Factory installed die-formed aligner sleeves double the metal thickness at the joint, adding significant strength and stability.

• Plug together wiring ensures every electrical connection is correct.
