Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government (here':' ·inafter referred to· as "the Government") that the land 'specifled In the schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to' OJ;

the "said land") is likely. to be needed for public purpose viz. L .. A. for construction of road N. H. 17 from Km. 66/0 to 68/0 ~anaji Karnataka Border Section.

And· Whereas in the opinion of the Government the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 17 of the ~d Acquiw

sition Act, 1894 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) are applicable.

Therefore the Government is pleased to ·notify under sUbH

-section (.1) of Section 4 of the Land· Acquisition Act, 1894; (hereinafter refened to as the "said Act") that the said land is likely to be needed for the purpose specified above.

The Government is pleased to direct under sub·section. (4) of Section 17 of the said Act that the proviSions of Section 5A of tlle salid Act shall not .apply in respect of the said land.

2. AU persons mterested in the said land are hereby warned not to obstruct or interfere with any surveyor or other persons employed upon the said land for the purpose of the said acquisition. Any contracts for the disposal of

Those workpersons who are paid a DAILY wage, their salary shall be computed' thus: DAILY WAGE multiplied 'by 30 days per Month -i.e. for example: Rs. 101/- 30 days = 300/-. FLAT.-RISE of Rs. 200/- should be paid over and above the existing Monthly sa~ary accruing to each worker as on 31st January. 1985.
