Let Us Be The Church God Desires

Romans 12:9-12

How do you have a loving church?

A survey of 8,600 people from

congregations in 39 different

denominations measured their `love

quotient’. The conclusion - growing

churches are more loving to each other

and to visitors than declining churches.

Loving churches attract more people

regardless of their theology,

denomination or location.

Be sincere .

Be considerate .

Be energetic .

Be _prayerfully patient.

Be warm .

Be different .

Be understanding .

Be one .

The Armor of God

The new ladies bible study is starting

Friday, June 29 at 12:00pm & Sunday,

July 1 at 5:00pm. Today is the last day

to sign up (located on back table).

Book cost is $13.00. Kim will be at the

back to collect money.

Books issued after receipt of money.

Calling all children

from Kindergarten–5th grade. Pick up a

Children’s Worship Bag, located on the

table at the back of the sanctuary.

Each bag contains a bible story with

activities to go along with it. Fill out

your worship bulletin and activity

sheets and return everything (including

the bag) to Ms. Lori after the service

and a receive a

“sweet” treat.

A Sunday Morning Bible class for all

adults, led by Robert Ranford. Class

will be held in the Wednesday

night bible study classroom.

Fresh Hope for Metal Health

Support group is starting in July.

This is a Faith Based Support Group

for those who struggle with Mental

Health Challenges, and their loved

ones. This will be a weekly meeting

led by Bro. Randy, Kim Neighbors and

Rebekah Patton. There is no charge

to attend. If you, or any one you know

struggles with mental illness please

invite them to attend or see one of the

above for more information.

Today is Brian Henley’s last day for a

few months. He is headed to Colorado

via his bike. He says it will be cooler

there. Please tell him “see you later”

How to become a member of

God’s Church

By Baptism..If you profess faith in the savior, Jesus Christ, and desire to pattern your life after Christ’s teachings as understood by our church, then the church may receive you as a candidate for baptism after the manner of our Lord

By Letter...If you are a Baptist and have been baptized by immersion in another Baptist church and wish to join our church and cooperate with the theological and directional position of Crowell Heights Baptist Church, the church may receive you as a member.

By Statement...If you have been biblically immersed by a church that agrees with our doctrine concerning baptism and wish to join our church and cooperate with the theological and directional position of Crowell Heights Baptist Church, the church may receive you as a member by statement of your faith in Christ.
