This is care in addition to the care the pastor gives. If you are interested in having a Stephen Minister, fill out one of the slips in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate or hand it to the minister or one of the Stephen Leaders or Tom Lee.

LENTEN PREACHING SERIES … During Lent I will be using a resource by Rob Renfroe entitled A Way Through the Wilderness: Growing in Faith When Life is Hard.

The following are the sermon titles which are the same as the chapter titles in Renfroe’s book:

Feb 14: No Way Around the Wilderness

Feb 21: Entering the Wilderness

Feb 28: Walking with Others in the Wilderness

Mar 6: Walking with God in the Wilderness

Mar 13: Avoiding Wrong Turns in the Wilderness

Mar 20: Coming Out of the Wilderness

I hope you will find this series spiritually enriching and food for reflection and sacrificial living during this holy Lenten season.

The Lord invites you to observe a Holy Lent beginning next Wednesday (called Ash Wednesday), February 10, 2016, with a Pancake Supper at 6:00pm followed by the Ser-vice of Imposition of Ashes in the sanctuary.

The peace of the Lord be with you!
