Amuria District Local Government is in the process of updating its service provider’s shortlist and has allocated funds towards the exercise and Procurement of providers for management of revenue sources, framework contracts and Projects under Open Domestic Bidding for the financial year 2019/2020 and Disposal of boarded off Assets for F/Y 2018-2019.Bidding shall be in accordance with Local Government (Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets) Regulations 2006.
Boarded off motor Vehicles and motor cycles can be viewed at the Production Compound. The viewing will be coordinated by Engineers and will take place at normal working hours from 23rd April 2019 to 30th April 2019. The Schedule for Disposal will be same as stated below,

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Local Gov-ernment Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets
Regulations 2006, of the Government of Uganda. A complete set of Bidding documents in English will be obtained from and returned to the Procurement and Disposal unit.Bids for open bidding Works projects, should be accompanied with a bid security as stated in the bid documents in form of a bank draft from a reputable financial institution. Bidding fee is 102,500/= for all categories under open bidding , 82,500/= for all categories under prequalification and 52,500/= for Disposal of Motor Vehicle/Motor Cycles, and 32,500/= for Office Equipment will be paid to Amuria District Local Government general funds account No.01983501007696 in DFCU Bank, Soroti branch. The District Cashier will issue you with a general receipt upon presentation of a bank slip. Each item must be applied for separately in case a firm intends to be short listed for more than one item. Applications should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Tender/Pre-qualification for……………………” and clearly addressed to the Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Amuria District Local Government, P.O. Box 4, Amuria, not later than 30th May, 2019. Late bids will not be accepted.
Note: 1. Amuria District Local Government reserves the right to
accept or reject any bid and is not bound by either the lowest or highest bidder.
2. Any firm which has a record of default in the running of markets will automatically be disqualified.
