Worship Update
With the reported uptick in Covid-19 please consider the
following.
Before coming to church: Complete a self-health. (check tempera-
tures, etc)
Entering Nursery/Toddler/Junior Church:
Maintain safe distancing from other families while checking in. Check
in will be done by a volunteer. All the children/volunteers entering
will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
Those Participating:
Children will be encouraged to maintain distancing. Lessons will
feature activities where no materials are shared among the children.
No snacks will be distribued whether they are from the church or
brought in from the outside. Bottles/sippy cups will be monitered to
ensure there is no sharing or switching. All toys will be sanitized
after each Sunday.
Leaving Toddler/Junior Church
Social distancing will remain in effect and a volunteer will check the
children out as familes arrived. Children/volunteers will be asked to
use hand sanitizer when exiting.
These guidelines are put in place so that FCC Kids Children’s
Church may resume, but can be done in the safest way possible.
Volunteers and children are encouraged to wear a mask, but are not
required to do so. FCC Kids will do our best to recruit volunteers
for Children’s Church, but please understand that if a weekly volun-
teer is not comfortable leading, that program will be cancelled for
the week.
Sunday School
This is the most painful and difficult decision. We miss both the
educational and fellowship aspect of the Sunday School program.
Due to the physical make-up of our classrooms and other factors,
some classes would be unable to practice proper social distancing,
even if we switched classrooms. It has been decided that with the
reported uptick in Covid-19 cases that Sunday School will not re-
sume at this time. The Elders and staff are monitoring the situation
and are going to try to reopen the Sunday School program in con-
junction with the start of the school year.
9:30 Service
The 9:30 service will continue and will be broadcast for those who
don’t feel comfortable attending in person.
PRAYER REQUESTS: And pray in the spirit on all occa-
sions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in
mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the
Lord’s people. Eph 6:18
Sarah Koop passed away this past week.
A Memorial Service for Melissa (Johnson) Palmer, daughter of
Pam and Duane Johnson, will be held here at the church on Satur-
day, July 25th at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to:
The Brighton Center
375 Weaver Rd, Florence KY 41042
Off. Counters: Roehm/Lewin
Mission:Felicity The student ministry will be doing local
service projects in July and are looking for jobs they can do
to serve the community and the church. If you or anyone
you know needs some outside work done and lives in the
village or township, please let us know.
Parent's Night Out - July 25th CHANGES
Due to low numbers of RSVP's, this parents night out will
now only be offered during the 5-9:30pm time slot. There is
still an attendance maximum for this event, so please RSVP
as soon as you can to get a spot. If you have already
RSVP'ed for this time slot, you are fine. RSVP MEANS TEX-
TING KATIE. Liking the event on Facebook does NOT
equal an RSVP!

Missionary Gregory Fisher writes: What will He say when He shouts? The question took me by surprise. I had already found that West African Bible College Students can ask some of the most pene-trating questions about minute details of scripture.
“Pastor, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says that Christ will descend from heav-en with a loud command. I would like to know what that command will be?”
I wanted to leave the question unanswered, to tell him that we must not go past what Scripture has revealed, but my mind wandered to an encounter I had earlier in the day with a refugee from the Liberian civil war. The man, a high school principal, told me how he was ap-prehended by a 2 man death squad. After several hours of terror, as the men described how they would torture and kill him, he narrowly escaped. After hiding in the bush for 2 days, he was able to find his family and escape to a neighboring country. The escape cost him dearly: 2 of his children lost their lives.
I also saw flashbacks of the beggars that I pass each morning on my way to the office. Every day I see how poverty destroys dignity, robs men of the best of what it means to be human, and sometimes substitutes the worst of what it means to be an animal. I am haunted by the vacant eyes of people who have lost hope. “Pastor, you have not given me an answer. What will He say?” The question hadn’t gone away.
“Enough,” I said, “He will shout, “Enough! When he returns” The student had a look of surprise on his face, “What do you mean, enough?” “Enough suffering. Enough starvation. Enough terror. Enough death. Enough indignity. Enough lives trapped in hopeless-ness. Enough sickness and disease. Enough heartache & sorrow. Enough pain and broken families. ENOUGH!!!!” rev. 7: Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear, from their eyes... - Rev 7:16,17”

ANOTHER BAPTISM!!
Bristol Baudendistel was baptized earlier this
week by Katie. We welcome her to the family.
Bristol is the daughter of Cale & Janelle Bau-
dendistel.
SPECIAL COMMUNITY PRAYER SER-
VICE
The prayer service went really well with about 55
there to pray for our community, nation and our
world. Now there is talk of doing a community
prayer walk in the future.
BUILDING ISSUES
Several times in the past week alone there have
been issues involving our church campus. Mem-
bers have came to the facility during the week
and have found doors unlocked and lights left on.
Both buildings have thousands of dollars worth of
instruments and electronics. If you are in the
building, other than the Sunday services, please
take an extra moment to check ALL doors when
leaving and turn out the lights, including the re-
strooms. On Sunday, a couple from the tradition-
al service will go around and check both buildings.
God has blessed us with a great church campus.
It’s our duty, as good stewards, to see that the
our worship buildings are used in a safe and se-
cure manner.
