VOZ PASIVA
Voz activa● He ate all the cookies. (Comió todas las galletas.)
Voz pasiva● All the cookies were eaten. (Todas las galletas fueron
comidas.)
ESTRUCTURA
● Se forma la voz pasiva con el verbo auxiliar "to be" y el participio pasado del verbo.
+ Aux.Verb("to be") + Past Part. + C
The cabin was made of wood.
EJEMPLOS
● The speech is written for the president. (El discurso está escrito para el presidente.)
● The house was built in 1975. (La casa fue construida en 1975.)
● My wallet has been stolen. (Ha sido robada mi cartera.)
● The room will be cleaned while we are out.
Ejemplo
● AV= Mark Twain wrote the book.● PV = The book was written by Mark Twain.
● AV = The housekeeper will clean the room.● PV = The room will be cleaned by the
housekeeper.
USOS
● A civilian has been killed.
● The car was stolen.
● The letter was delivered yesterday.
● A mistake was made.

● “You should know that money is not the main reason for me to apply for this job. I love challenges. I love learning. I work hard and I’m willing to work. However, if you ask me to give you a figure…I guess that the average for a job position like this is between X $ and XY$”. So I think a figure around this would be a fair one”.
