Biography – John Petchler

John Petchler, CFA, is a Director at Conning, where he is a member of the Credit Research team, focusedon Private Placements. Prior to joining Conning in 2016, Mr. Petchler was a Managing Director for MemberCapital Advisors where he was responsible for managing a $2B private placement bond portfolio andpreviously was a Senior Vice President for Citigroup Insurance Investments. Mr. Petchler earned a BA with aconcentration in Economics, Political Philosophy and History from Wesleyan University and a MBA inFinance from New York University. He is a chartered financial analyst and has been the President of thePrivate Placement Investors Association since 2013.
