IMO-NOx Tier III : LP-EGR
<System Overview>
Low Pressure EGR system
– EGR gas line is branched after Economizer.
– EGR Scrubber/Demister/EGR Blower are
installed on engine.
– EGR gas line is connected with EGR
Scrubber.
Fuel oil can be used HFO.
(LSA-oil is also available.)
For using scrubber water continuously, Water
Treatment System is needed on ship-side.

NOx reduction rate 80% was confirmed

<System Overview>
After Turbocharger (Low Pressure) SCR system
at low exhaust temperature – SCR gas line is
branched before Economizer
Exhaust gas temperature is risen up in SCR
operation with engine tuning.
Fuel oil is LS A-oil(MDO, MGO)
Catalyst of most upstream layer will be replaced
every 5 years (2 docks interval), then OPEX is
minimized.
After burner for heating regeneration is option.
<Result and Performance>
Onboard test had been carried out in SCMD
project, confirmed NOx reduction rate over 80%
stably.
