Recommendations of Implementation
The Ministerial Round Table Meeting at SEAMEO Council Conference in April 2015, Thailand endorsed the 7 priorities on education
for Southeast Asia and announced 5 recommendations for implementation,
starting from fiscal year 2015

3. Promoting teachers and school leaders’ competencies standards in all Southeast Asian countries
4. Moblising and sharing of knowledge, skills, and best practices among 11 countries in the areas of TVET, English proficiency skills, digital competencies,
21st century and employability skills
5. Involvement of parents in the education system through “partnering with parents “ initiative to foster common understanding on quality education to the parents in
education of their children
