MIX Station performs three groups of functions: 1. Handling of registration data for personnel 2. Handling of registration data for patients 3. Managing personnel’s and patients’ smart cards

Personnel Administration:
In this group 1. New persons may be registered 2. Their data may be updated or deleted, and 3. Their biometrics data (photo and two fingerprints) may be captured. (They will be loaded in the MIX™ Security Smartcard) (CLICK)

Smart Cards:
MIX Station can perform the following functions with MIX Security Smartcardsand with MIX Medical Smartcards: 1. Create request for a new Security or Medical Smartcard (submitted to the Card Production Server) 2. Activate new cards by verifying photo and fingerprints and setting personal PIN 3. Login into the card, in order to – list card – change its PIN, or – unblock it

4. Medical data stored on the Medical Smartcard may be updated and re–loaded into the card 2. In case of expiration or changes of data printed on the card, the cards may be re–issued
