- In the space between stimulus and response we are free to make a choice. We should not wait for stimuli and then respond. This is reactive behavior.

We need to be pro-active.

- Taking the initiative- It is more than that.- Proactive people do not blame circumstances, conditions or conditioning for their

behavior. The behavior is a product of their own conscious choice , based on values.
