Saving the planet from humanity hunters!

Earth hunters are enemies of hu-manity, all the problems that we got on our world. Hard capitalism, aids, cancer, fascism, illnesses, nuclear problems, global warming, drugs, wars, contamination, dis-respect, consumism, hunting, deforestation, negligence, arms, politic regimens, fanati-cism, discrimination, over control authori-ties, class differences, etc. All of them are human problems, difficulties for all of us, deforestation increases global warming as contamination of general enterprises and transports do so. Nuclear menace and pollution of its way of energy so controversial still even if we should have probably learned the lesson of Hiroshima and Nagazaki. Hunters, cities,

NOVO ARTE7th Edition July / August 2009

transports and contamination are a direct problem for nature; can we live without for-est and nature? Without water sources or green cleaners such as trees that cleans our ambient? Wars persist over political and indus-trial interest, even if we care of terrorism and problems like fanaticism or extremism, it’s not the solution and we should know it, people need equality! Differences between classes? Poverty? Fascism? Racism? Capi-talism or communism? Are we totally equal and same rights than every group of people around the world? That’s a problem too. Illnesses like AIDS, Avian Influenza and Cancer, most of the worst illnesses on history. Lets take a part on human forces against human hunters! Against all of those problems that we wouldn’t like for our sons!

Our contributor is a potential mu-sician that can’t afford to promote him or even properly equipment to record it. Any kind of promotion to his music from you, readers of NOVO ARTE, would be great for him. He was speaking to a French woman today in a library, and she was telling him how in France they’re library’s are very dif-ferent, and she said she wished they has English libraries! Our contributor thinks British Li-braries are just used more, its mainly used by the elderly, but people use it as a place to be alone, to have calm and quiet. He likes the library for that, and he can read, listen to music, do homework, and not have to talk to anyone or be distracted! He says, If you read a book at school, people make fun of you, but in a library you read whatever you like and won’t be judged! The lady seemed to think it was less calm and friendly than French libraries. Our contributor responded to a gen-eral interview sent to all people around NOVO ARTE’s networks. The following is a question asked to all contributors:-What is out there in your country related to arts & culture that you would remark to NOVO ARTE’s readers? I would say that poetry in Britain is really sadly ignored. I mean people are taught them in schools, and how to analyse but after that the average person may never read a poem again! Its like poetry has just disappeared in society and it’s a shame! Recently I have began reading po-etry over the Internet, and I’ve found some of it really beautiful and interesting. I don’t necessarily think people have lost their love

for poetry, it’s just isn’t easily accessible in society. You have to look hard for good po-etry; people are only interested in television, YouTube, MySpace and Facebook. Books and poetry just aren’t around like they were and its sad. However, the BBC (British television channel) is launching a new TV series and campaign to bring back poetry to the people of Britain. It has famous celebrities talking about their favourite po-ems and talking about their own. I think this will be really interesting, and wake the Brit-ish people up to poetry, which seems to have been thrown to one side at the expense of television and Internet. About the artist: It’s hard for a new musician to get no-ticed on the Internet, but it won’t make him a better musician. He lives in the outskirts of London; He has just finished school and he wonders what to do with his life. He works in a shoe shop, and like many people he hates his job! He wants to be a musician; because he is obsessed in music being honest. When he writes it feels natural, it’s really easy for him, and helps to escape, which is why many people like music he thinks. He’s in love with the music by The Smiths and The Cure. His idol is Tim Buckley an American folk singer (Jeff Buckley’s dad), sadly when he was alive he was really under-appreciated, like many legends, and by the end of his short life, was barely even noticed in the music industry, and sadly died young. He got our contributor into song writing. He is using the internet, to find out if people like what he write, if they do he’ll start performing in front of people, as he has only ever performed in front of friends and family. Our contributor thanks NOVO ARTE for showing interest in his person. He thinks the topic described is very interesting. Won-dering what is worth to mention our contrib-utor got these thoughts: First of all: things are getting better here in Poland in case of culture at all. There is a rising number of festivals, concerts, exhibitions, new clubs, events, oth-er cultural actions etc. He is happy to confirm the rising influence of indie art in there. He’d like to mention such events like Off Festival or Slot Art Festival - in his opinion these are some of the common facilities of the native indie art: plenty of interesting and original artists, bands/acts etc in one place! Few days ago our contributor went to Selector Festival in Cracow. There he saw stunning shows from Franz Ferdinand, Royksopp, Fischerspooner, my favourite Deadmau5 and many more. His favour-ite polish artists/bands: Novika & Beats Friendly, Oszibarack, Husky, Marcin Czu-bala, 3artes, Reni Jusis, Masala, Cool Kids Of Death or LUC. Talking about experiences of art of a single person in Poland. In his opinion it’s like every single guy can choose a really good piece of art going to a plenty of exhibitions, theatrical shows, concerts etc around every bigger city. Unfortunately in his opinion many people are not that demanding. They choose sitting in front of TV and watching dull programs, approving the very commer-cial residues and tacky ‘stars’. A really important tool is Internet. Every single person can find a really good stuff there; sometimes it takes just few min-utes to find something what you exactly pre-fer. Sites like MySpace ‘provide’ a plenty of ambitious and original artists, which deserve

to been seen and heard - that’s what I think. It’s even easier to do, because nearly every-one has a regular net access. It is all matter of choice. These were just some of our contrib-utor’s spontaneous reflections about things related to arts in Poland.

My country is full of arts! Says our contributor, great music groups and paint-ing but the most remarkable is art crafts. All craftsmen that sell in Pana San Pedro, San Marcos, who elaborate pipes, adornments, collars and bracelets. He’s interested in con-tinuing to talk about his country. Groups like Dubolution and graffiti makers like soft that really remarked the Ur-ban Arts. Thanks Karbin

The underground graffiti and rap world in the bay area of California speaks nothing but revolution and free thought. We spray government property only, we speak of power to the people and fight for the oppressed in the San Francisco bay area we understand that for real change to hap-pen one must fight the relentless never-end-ing fight for freedom against those who en-slave us and reap the mass benefits of their corporate empires. The music, graffiti, and the people reflect this and are engrained in the culture of the San Francisco bay area. From Haight Street in San Francisco to the marijuana fields in Humboldt County, we here un-derstand freedom of choice, thought, and speech. That’s what we fight for all the time.

Our contributor took a look at our magazine and like what we’re doing. She has answered some of your questions be-low.

What is out there in your country re-lated to arts & culture that you would remark to NOVO ARTE’s readers? I think that right now in the U.S. it is an exciting time for art and culture. I think people are bored with being isolated from art. Communicating ideas about art and culture is starting to be a normal thing for every type of person. Self-expression is not something to be feared and using connections through one’s community and the Internet it is easy to find support for being creative.

Which are the common experiences about arts of a single person living in your country? Which are your experiences? In the U.S. you do not have to try too hard to experience the world of art. All you have to do is pick up a newspaper or check local listings online to see what is going on. In my view it is important to be culturally in-formed to keep in touch with the hearts of the people. In every major city there are always free events or galleries to attend, smaller towns are forming art spaces where maybe there were none before. Music can be found anywhere; it’s just a matter of what suits your taste. Even walking down the street you can see urban graffiti, buildings, parks, etc. People are finding new and interesting ways to creatively express their views.

Which exponents of arts would you

like to mention from your country?(For example artists, musicians, culture, museums, theatres, galleries, exhibitions, festivals, movies, architecture, murals, pho-tography, graffiti, design, music)Would you like to show photos to share with your ads? I would like to emphasize here the importance of being connected to the cul-tural world. Once you actually get out there and start to look around you can see how there are no distinctive lines between one artist and another. People want to be bound together in feeling, and are not afraid to pose an idea, it’s all for the same effort.

Our contributor says if we’d like some pho-tographs she can send some, and I can give examples of some U.S. artists/musicians that I her opinion are doing wonderful work.

Our contributorwants to help with information from his country. He likes too much arts and culture. In his area their culture and arts are very interesting. Do know SIAO, FESPACO, SNC?-SIAO: is the greatest African art craft meeting. It’s a living room international crafts of OUAGADOUGOU.-FESPACO: Is also a great festival, for Af-rican cinema. Pan African Film Festival of Ouagadougou.-SNC: is the national week of culture. All these events draw a lot of visi-tors. There are other events like the nights a typical Koudougou SINDOU of spades, the cascade of Banfora and much more.

Our contributor would be glad to tell us more about that. He took his time to answer our interview questions on culture and art on page 21.Here’s what he had to tell us: 1) The culture and art for us is our joy, our faces, our pride, our identity, and our integ-rity. 2) The importance of culture for us is very personal; through culture and art come to us we identified other ethnic groups espe-cially in other countries. 3) In our country Burkina Faso we have around 62 ethnic groups and 62 languages; it is sometimes difficult for us to release each other. But with these 3 official lan-guages of the country we come to this re-lease. These 3 languages (MOORE, French, Dioula) 4) The importance of culture for us is very large: The traditional clothing, dances, songs, dance masks, costumes, stories, sacrifices, traditional marriages, all these

things come from culture and ethnicity in each culture. 5) The craft is also a very important place in our lives, especially in villages. The old peo-ple in the villages are: (fetishes, sacrifices, customs, tradition with objects as SCLU-TURES MADE IN WOOD AND SKIN OF HORSES, donkeys, sheep, dogs and much more.) Our contributor has a lot to say and explain. He has some questions you posed: - Do you know the parents to jokes? - Have you ever attended a traditional mar-riage? - Have you ever attended or seen what hap-pens sacrifices? - Do you have totems in your country? - Wear your clothes and scarves? - Have you ever attended a traditional fu-neral? Our contributor has much experience with the culture and art because he helped peo-ple to make organizations, competitions and games on (the fight, traditional dances, storytelling, dance masks, the Games cul-ture, traditional clothing and much else.) Our contributor says this magazine is quite interesting for him and he likes it a lot. He has much to tell about Georgian cul-ture and art, which is what Georgian peo-ple are the most proud of. So here are the answers of our con-tributor for the general interview (page 21):

1. I’d like to remark the Georgian folk dance, it’s a national treasure. The most popular ensemble “Erisioni” even had a tour all over the world, performing show “Geor-gian Legend”. It’s really amazing. Folklore is well saved up between the citizens of my country. 2. Georgia is the country where every-one sings, even on demonstrations. I have to say, that they do it well. Even more than this, one Georgian folk song “Chakrulo” was sent in the space. About my experience on arts, I have my own electronic music project; also I’m a dancer. I’m really into the art. 3. There are lots of exponents I can’t name all, but this time I will choose Firos-mani (Niko Firosmanashvili) he was self-ed-ucated painter, simply genius. His paintings were touring France last month. Pictures are cost millions of dollars and they’re in the list of Georgian National Treasures. 4. I want to tell every NOVO ARTE’s reader, take a time to look through the Geor-gian Art & culture; you’ll definitely love it. Best wishes, from Georgia. Thanks Giorgi Megrelishvili (M-egrela)

Armony, symphony Music makes us rebirth each time we heard it, and sounds in general makes us don’t forget that it won’t have end. Nature makes sounds and humans make themselves, theres no limit, no time, no way to hide it, it’s just there to hear and feel it, being noise or amonic it makes us feel alive. Even on our dreams we hear it and in our thougths when we talk or just remem-ber. It’s impact make artists paint, feel and create different styles. The power of music is more stronger than we could imagine, it’s present on each culture, place, forest, ocean or river. How can we use that power to improve our hu-man equality? How to make a better world just using the power of those giant vibra-tions? That’s a good question for our present musicians and to nature itself.

Armony, symphony On the next page, evaluation of al-bums, do you want to take part on the next one?
