The Severn Glocon Group provides world-class engineered valve products and services to power and process plants across the globe. The Severn Glocon brand is recognised globally for innovative solutions for control valve applications and critical shut off, with a 50 year heritage in the design and production of engineered valve products and services. This experience and capability has been developed into the specialisation of severe service control and high pressure isolation applications for the thermal power industry. Our innovative valve solutions can be deployed across combined cycle (CCPP), conventional coal, combined heat and power (CHP) and renewable (biomass, solar and waste to energy). Our critical service valves for turbine bypass, steam conditioning, severe service control and butterfly valves are designed and manufactured in the UK. Severn Glocon also has a state of the art manufacturing facility in India for general service control valves.

Severn Glocon provide application solutions for critical service control valves such as turbine bypass, feed water regulation and boiler feed pump minimum flow protection used for applications in the combined cycle, conventional coal, combined heat and power (CHP) and renewable (biomass, solar and waste to energy) power plants. We also offer for the same power plants critical isolation and control valves with Severn Glocon 8000 Series Butterfly Valves ranging from 2" to 100" and for temperatures up to 1000°C.

Severn Glocon provides expertise in optimising the application and provides installation guidance relating to control, drains, preheating etc. For bypass to condenser for example, Severn Glocon can provide the dump tube for either an air cooled condenser or a water cooled condenser or the design / engineering review for the dump tube for others to manufacture.

We apply this technical knowledge to develop bespoke engineered solutions that improve long-term reliability and flow performance for established plants. Severn Glocon have a global network of sales and aftermarket facilities to support the installed valves.

In addition, Severn Glocon can provide provide advanced engineering service through our “Repair Intelligence Circle™” process, uniquely drawing on three decades of control valve performance data and this is the nucleus of our advanced engineering services.
