“Sexual Harassment is an unwelcome sexual advance, unwelcome request for sexual favours or other unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature which makes a person feel offended, humiliated or intimidated”

Specifically, what behaviours could make a person feel like this?

What steps should we take to ensure that harassment (of any kind) is not taking place in our workplace?

What “assertive message” could you communicate if:

• A workmate constantly makes comments to you with sexual overtones?

• Someone is treating you unfairly about your work because you previously declined a request for a date?

• There are obscene pictures in your workplace that make you feel embarrassed?
