ENTEC SF6 Gas Insulated Ring Main Unit is designed to have distribution level of up to 24kV, and

rated currents up to 630A. Mainly used in malls, shopping centers, industrial areas and other

locations of where the load is concentrated and areas with increasing demand of load. It is installed

on the ground at the withdrawal point to prevent the fault spreading out to other branch line.

It contains tee-off circuit breaker that has stainless steel enclosure and insulate with SF6 gas in

3-position switch. By adopting vacuum interrupter, it can perform 2,000 times of mechanical

operation. In addition, each phase is mechanically interlocked with main circuits to maximize the

safety. Self-powered relay is available for precisely operating at a set time and detect fault

current. For monitoring line in distribution automation system, digital relay controller can be

equipped as an optional to be configured to the system.

SF6 Gas Insulated Ring Main Unit (RMU)

Self-powered Relay

Overcurrent relay ETR20 and ETR20H is used to control Ring Main Unit, identifying lines and segmenting fault sector.

It is self-powered micro-processor based protection relay.

Comparing to mechanical protection relays, ETR20 and ETR20H operates more precisely at preset time , detect fault

current and send trip signal to RMU immediately.

ETR20 and ETR20H provide phase, instantaneous, delayed time ground, instantaneous ground overcurrent elements.

Selector switch for convenient setup of protection elements, LED, trip indicator provided.

[ETCCU104] [ETR304]

Multi-Way Control Communication Unit ETR304 and ETCCU104 are designed to control Ring Main Unit locally or remotely. It

receives measurements and status information from circuit breaker and analyzes voltage and current in the distribution line.

To help end-user to analyze specifically, voltage and current measurement with rapid sampling of 128 per cycle and sag, swell,

interrupt, harmonic wave, voltage and current unbalance and power quality monitoring functions are provided. Alongside,

ETIMS interface software is provided which is user friendly. It will make end-users to easily download records, events file and

set up functions.
