Shaikh Central School students excelled in Titan Kids National Arithmetic Championship organized by Titan Genius Kids in Belgaum. Total 50 students from various schools from Belgaum competed in the inter school National level Abacus competition. Shaikh Central School was the only school in Belgaum which excelled and won in the above said competition.

The students of Shaikh Central School, Master Sanskar Undale, Ms. Srishti Mamadapur and Master Sayadkhan Jamadar won the first place in Sub Junior, Junior and Senior category respectively. INAUGURATION OF MATHS LAB AT SHAIKH CENTRAL SCHOOL

A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Hospital along with Lodge Victoria and Gouri Ganga Trust Halkarni had organized free eye camp at A.M. Shaikh Hospital, Nehru Nagar, Belgaum. The objective of the event was to restore the vision for poor needy cataract patients of belgaum and surrounding areas of belgaum. Eminent ophthalmologist of the city took lead to operate complicated & challenging cases of cataract.

The event was a pentagon event of above group and supported by Shri. Abu Shaikh, Chairman, Shaikh Group of Institutions. Addressing the gathering Mr. Abu Shaikh, Chairman, Shaikh group of Institutions said that the Laboratory will aid the delivery of practical knowledge to the teacher trainees. He said that the teacher trainees will get an opportunity to learn and understand the basic science principles through creative science models and interactive demonstrations. He further added that the science education would not be about science if it did not include opportunities to learn the process.

Mrs. Indira Sutar, Principal, Shaikh College of Education in her presidential remarks said that the teacher trainees will learn how to use tools and experiment with different techniques for collecting data. PES University, Bangalore had organised a State level talent search competition “QUIZ–SERIES 2016” recently in Bangalore. More than 7000 students from Karnataka participated in the competition. The competition consisted of 3 rounds. Total 1000 participants qualified for the first round out of which 15 were from BIMS College.

trade fair in India for Die and Mould industries.Mechanical students of Shaikh College of Engineering & Technology got an opportunity to witness latest proven technologies and incorporating features to improve productivity. Students also interacted with many Japanese and Chinese industrialists who represented their companies who shared their knowledge. They also got an opportunity to learn few mechanical, mechatronics applications and electronic technique.

The visit was supported by Er. Abu Shaikh, Chairman, Shaikh Group of Institutions. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rafi Nadaf, HoD, Mechanical Department.

Put about 100 bricks in some particular order in a close room with a open window. Then send 2 or 3 candidates in the room and close the door. Leave them alone and come back. After 6 hours and then analyze the situation:If they are counting the bricks.. Put them in accounts department

If they are recounting the bricks.. Put them in auditing

If they have messed up the whole place with the bricks.. Put them in engineering

If they are arranging the bricks in some strange order.. Put them in Planning

If they are throwing the bricks at each other.. Put them in Operations

If they are sleeping.. Put them in security

If they have broken the bricks into pieces.. Put them in information technology

If they are sitting idle.. Put them in Human Resources

If they say they have tried different combinations, yet not a brick has been moved. Put them in sales

If they have already left for the day.. Put them in Marketing

If they are staring out of the window.. Put them on Strategic Planning

And then last but not the least.If they are talking to each other and not a single brick has been moved .. Congratulate them and put them in TOP MANAGEMENT.
