Project Name EMQUEST Fare Box Size Automation

Role Software Engineer

Duration July 2011 – February 2012

 Description: In ticketing data fare shows limitation to have small field size and adding to customer support for bigger fare size need to expand current fare box size which needs change to all ticketing processes and functionality to populate the current changes.To ensure ticketing system shows updated fare size a comprehensive regression testing is required. A smart automation suite is needed to support huge testing. This project involves coverage of the ticketing system in terms of functionalities and related data tables need changes to the proposed fare size. 

Responsibilities:

Manual Scripts Analysis, record and escalate the gaps. Responsible for development and maintenance of Customer Data and Non air Content product

automation scripts in Fitnesse Tool. Performed smoke testing and sanity testing for the successful Online Load Test.  Performed Adhoc-Testing, Pre-Production testing for the zTPF migration.

Project Name Sabre: Ticketing Product Area Automation/Testing Support

Role Senior Software Engineer

Duration July 2011 – Oct 2014

 Description: zTPF Automation project involves migration of 32 Bit TPF system into the zTPF 64 Bit zTPF system which requires Critical Business functionalities should be fully tested to compliance that migrated system is working as same 32 Bit system after migration. Automation scripts needs to be created to cover those CBF [Critical Business Functionalities] and should be executed before and after migration of the system to verify each and every test is successful and system is working as existing. The Automation scripts will be created on the basis of Manual Test Scripts created by SME (s) [Subject matter experts] or Business Analyst for each and every Business Area.

Responsibilities:

Performed Automation Testing over the TPF to z/TPF migration QTP Framework. Development and execute test cases/scripts for the MOZART framework (did the same using HP

Quality Centre). Performed automated acceptance testing along with the Automation and regression testing for the

successful z/TPF migration  Development of different PNR, Utilities, Air Pricing, Queues and Ticketing scripts for quality

testing.  Provide detailed analysis of all testing carried out on the environment ensuring all bugs, risks and

issues are logged correctly using Bugzilla & JIRA. Automation scripts review and analysis. Generic Keywords, re-usable and function identification and development. Execution and debugging of errors during run time. Automation Support to Functional Experts [Business Analyst] Automation scripts and Datasheet posting into QC and execution to make it passed status.  Logging defects and reporting into Bugzilla to get it resolved & Fixed by application developer. Automation support to give enhancements to the functional experts for repeatable and reusable

manual scripts. Prepare the Daily Status Report (DSR) and Weekly Status Report (WSR) Timely Escalation/ Follow ups of the Critical Defects, Timely re-testing of the defects. Creating user-defined functions for the framework enhancement. Created utility for improving the performance of the framework and reducing the manual

intervention. Enhanced framework for single execution to parallel execution by replacing the QTP layer with

VAPI-XP test from Hybrid framework.

 Description: This project is part of TMNAS IT, where Birlasoft provides QA services to various business critical applications. Birlasoft is majorly involved in QA of 2 policy management systems and automation of policy management systems and customer portals.  

 

Responsibilities:

Understand project requirements. Prepare Update the Test case document for testing of the application from all aspects. Prepare the test setup.  Deploy the build in the required setup. Conduct the Testing including Sanity and functional Execute the Test cases. Update the Test Result document. Attend the Regular client calls. Log / File the defects in Defect tracking tool / Bug Report. Verify defects. Discuss doubts/queries with Development Team / Client. Automate, review , analyses and Maintain UFT Scripts Automation support to give enhancements to the functional experts for repeatable and reusable

manual scripts. Perform Sanity testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing Act as site administrator for Quality Center ALM Create Test Cases and Test Data as required to execute test cases, execute the same in QA region and
