Nair will receive the award at a banquet on May 28 at The Waldof-Astoria here. The 2008 awards recognize achieve- ments from 2007 and is the first and largest business award pro- gram for the Asian American busi- ness community. In an interview with India Jour- nal, Nair reacting to the award said he felt deeply honored to be se- lected among so many outstand- ing Asian Americans and was look- ing forward to the awards cer- emony and the opportunity to meet other awardees.  Asked why he felt Asian Ameri- cans were successful in business, he opined that  Asian Americans often come with a strong work ethic that suggests not taking anything for granted. Piracy of software on Personal Computer s (P .C) in India has come down to 69 percentage points for 2007, toeing the global trend in which piracy rates dropped in most countries, the study said. The software piracy menace has been haunting the major software developers like Microsoft. Microsoft (India) Managing Direc- tor Neelam Dhawan had earlier said the industry is losing a large share of its revenue due to circula- tion of pirated softwares.
