IntroductionShanghai is the largest Chinese city by population and the largest city proper by population in the world. It is one of the four direct-controlled municipalities of the People's Republic of China, with a population of more than 24 million as of 2013. It is a global financial center, and a transport hub with the world's busiest container port. Located in the Yangtze River Delta in East China, Shanghai sits on the south edge of the mouth of the Yangtze in the middle portion of the Chinese coast. AttractionsOriental pearl TV tower : Towering high above Pudong New Area, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower has been the outstanding landmark of Shanghai since its completion in 1995. The tower is 468 meters high, the highest in Asia and the third highest in the world, next to the 553meter-high CN Tower in Toronto, Canada, and the 540-meter-high TV Tower in Ostankino Tower in Moscow, Russia.

AttractionsFor a century the Bund has been one of the most recognizable architectural symbols and pride of Shanghai. Every morning people come here to do exercises and every evening they come to appreciate the view with their loved ones.

AttractionsTianzifang: A comfortable district for art, caf, and shopping hidden in Shanghai French Concession, also allowing you to see local Shanghai life. Tianzifang is a tourist shopping and cafe area in Shanghai in the Old French Quarter. Unlike the better known Xintiandi area nearby, the area retains an organic and original feel because the area hasnt been markedly reconstructed in recent years. Instead youll see buildings, alleys and streets of the old French Quarter with later Chinese additions piled on.

City God Temple, originally called Jinshan Temple, is located in Huangpu area near the most bustling Yuyuan Market. It was built in the years of Yongle (14021624) Emperor in the Ming Dynasty. With a 600-year-long history, City God Temple is one of the most important scenic spots in Shanghai.

Nowadays, City God Temple has an area of over 1000 square kilometers. There are many companies around it, and here is supposed to be the original bustling areas in Shanghai. The local products and specialties selling here attract many tourists and businessmen from all over the world.

AttractionsA longtang (lngtng, Shanghainese: longdang) is a laneway in Shanghai and, by extension, a community centred on a laneway or several interconnected laneways. It is sometimes called lilong (); the latter name incorporates the -li suffix often used in the name of residential developments in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A large variety of housing styles are called "lilong residences" in Shanghai.

Nanxiang Steamed Pork Dumplings (Nanxiang xiaolongbao) are a traditional snack of NanxiangTownship in Shanghai's suburbs and can be found all over Shanghai.These dumplings are made with a thin skin of dough and stuffed with a seasoned minced pork. The dumplings are then steamed in a bamboo steamer. Note that these dumplings are wrapped and sealed differently than other dumplings like jiaozi. We recommend taking a bite to let the juices cool. Otherwise, the juices could burn your tongue or spilt out on you. The electricity in China is generally 220V, 50HZIf you visit China and wish to bring electric devices for use during your stay, a transformer, which can be bought in China for CNY100-200, is necessary. Most of the hotels in China have both 110V and 220V electrical outlets in the bathrooms, though in guest rooms usually only 220V sockets are available.

As the shape of a socket varies between countries, a portable plug adapt-or may also be necessary. It can be purchased from stores (such as Franzus) or electronics stores (i.e. RadioShack, Best Buy) in your local countries. Also wecan prepare it for you if needed,but you have to pay the money.
