See Fabric Yardage List Cut 192 (5”) squares OR use 192 pre-cut 5” squares Cut 192 houses from 96 squares following the steps below Match a houses to a squares Arrange according to quilt pattern OR randomly place squares Sew 5” squares together to form rows of long strips Sew long rows together forming quilt top Sew 4” border strip around all edges of quilt top Measure front quilt panel’s length and width, set aside Cut backing fabric according to Backing Cutting & Sewing Guide (check your measurements with fabric guide to ensure a fit) Sew backing together (see Backing Cutting & Sewing Guide) Sandwich Backing, Batting and Front together Flatten and smooth layers Safety pin layers together in place Long arm quilt OR stitch in the ditch with machine quilting (Stitch in the Ditch is sewing directly on seam line between squares) Sew on binding (See Binding Instructions at end of book) Wash quilt so that house edges fray

This will create 2 houses

Stack the 2 halves on top of each other

Place 1 house on 1 (5”) square

Stitch house onto square 1/4” from edge
Repeat placing a house in each square 10
After quilt is completed, wash and edges will fray

Cut 5” square in half

Use roller cutter & ruler to cut peak points off

Sew Panel A to Panel B along 60” edge to create Back panel Lay Back panel right side down and place batting on top Place quilt front right side up on top of batting Flatten and pin together
Place houses even distance apart Pin houses in place Stitch houses using raw edge appliqué
Quilt through all layers - stitch in the ditch (ditch is the seam lines of squares) both vertically and horizontally
