St. Andrews school is a Catholic school. It is an amazing school to go to!It teaches about Christ in Religion. It has cool Artwork to do and many other things! I Love my WONDERFUL school. St. Andrews is in High Prairie, Alberta, Canada. It is about a hour away from Peace River.
St. Andrews
St. Andrews school is 57 years old. St. Andrews school was built 1957. Wow!! That was when half the school was built. Later on the other half was built. Our school was built to teach people to believe in Christ and get a good education!
Abigail is Mrs. Caudron’s sponsor child. Before Mrs. Caudron had her as a sponsor child, her sister had to drop out of school and take care of Abigail.
Abigail
Abigail lives in a hot place, can you guess? Kenya! Mrs. Caudron has been there before. There are cool animals and there are tour guides who carry knifes! Fierce

Like I said in the slide before, Abigail's sister had to come out of school so we gave her and the other children in the Isiolo Kenya Compassion Project money. With the money Abigail is happy and has some more house objects!
What?
You might ask “ Why did Mrs. Caudron start sponsoring Abagail?” Well, she did it because Abagail couldn’t go to school, didn’t have a mom, and didn’t have any food. But when Mrs. Caudron started to sponsor Abagail, she could go to school, and had food. She still doesn't have a mom, but she has a sister, a dad, and is HAPPY and is learning about Jesus.
Why?
We interviewed Mrs. Lasher because she organized the Share Lent fundraising in our school. We asked her about Share Lent and what she thinks about it. She thinks that is wonderful to help the less fortunate people in Isiolo, Kenya by donating money to the Isiolo Kenya Compassion Project, where Abigail goes on Saturdays.
Thank you Mrs. Lasher
Interview
Every year we have Pancake Day. We collected $2 for every student who ate pancakes. So we asked Mrs. Lasher if it was her idea. Her answer was: It’s a tradition at St. Andrews School. Now you know!!
Shrove Tuesday
To raise money we also did Easter Grams. They were Kinder Surprises that grades K-6 bought, each one cost $1.50. It is also a tradition too!
Easter Grams
To raise money we had cans/jars to put money into, Give A Dime for Lent. Jr. High had a coin challenge to see what class could collect the most coins and now they have charted it.
Raising Money
Did you know this is very special to the teachers/staff? Every teacher. Is it important to you? Why?

Two classes in the school, Mrs. Backs’ grade 2’s, and Mrs. Caudron’s grade 4’s wrote letters to Abigail. Here are some of the letters that were sent:
