Fits well if you need to wear it underneath clothing 5. Shoulder straps keep radio antenna out of the way, keeps camelback hose where I can find it 7. Hasnt frayed on me yet 8. Can bend down, squat, and move around without any restriction, can get in and out of trucks easily 9. Can break this down into 3 pieces and shove them anywhere I have (or dont have) room in my pack. No disappointments here. Amazing Vest John McCammon (Middle of Nowhere, Afghanistan) 8/6/2012 5:08 AM Alright, I have waited a couple weeks to write a review on this vest.. now that it is broke in and finally adjusted perfectly I have to say you definitely get your moneys worth with this vest. The fit is amazing couldn't be more happy with the way it sits on foot patrols and when im stuck in the truck for the long trips. I currently have the inserts and Large E-sapi plates, The large plates are a little snug at first but within a couple days in it the fit well. When I save up a little more cash I plan on getting the soft shell inserts for the cumber bun. Good work on this one boys.

I purchased this to put together a tactical active shooter vest and it is the bomb. The stitching is high quality and the overall manufacturing of it is something to be proud of. Esp. since it is made in the USA. Great vest and highly recommend!

My first PC

nick (Eglin AFB, FL) 4/18/2012 4:27 PM Just received my Banshee and I have been eyeing this for about a year, reading reviews and such. Finally pulled the trigger during there sale. Came in today and firstly, I love the color..Ranger Green is great. The fit is great, I am still waiting on my soft Armor and then down the road, I'm adding plates. But for now as a pseudo first review. I am digging it.

Good Carrier

Marc Brown (APO, AE) This was an awesome deal when I bought it. Good carrier and I use a medium size esapi level 3 so it fits perfect inside. I currently don't have a backing but in future I will. Other than that it fits awesome around me, I'm currently 5'3 and 137 pounds so short and stocky guy. Freedom of movement is good also the butt of the rifle during shooting sits good when aiming. I would recommend to buy a shoulder padding to support your shoulder. When carrying ammo and other items to relieve stress on shoulders. I bought my color in ranger green

Great Rig

Richard Dembroski (Chugiak , AK) Well built is an understatement. fit and finish is excellent, wearability is high. Never having had a chest rig like this took some getting use to but as long as I wear a soft shell coat under it its good to go . tends to ride a bit high with no plates in it. I know it will drop with weight on it. easy to get on and off and adjust . Love the drag handle , just hope noone has to use it with me wearing it .

Great Carrier

Eric Hutchins (Vermont) I have only had this carrier for about 3 months now, but it was the best item i have ever bought. its small, light, and sits perfectly on a small frame. The only issue i have had is when it is fully weighted down with gear and ESAPI plates, the shoulder straps like to walk themselves out, but im talking half an inch in three months. its easily solved by taping them where you want. other than that one little thing, the carrier is butilt like a tank, and you get a lot more for your money. Great carrier!! Griffen The banshee plate carrier is possible one of the most versatile plate carriers for the price on the market today. Im 5'6" so larger plate carriers do not fit me as well. The entire carrier is very light weight, and I love having the option to take the molle cummerbund off if necessary. Because the shoulder straps adjust so much, the carrier does not slip around what so ever, it stays in place, even if your jumping, crawling, running, rolling around, etc... The pouch on the front is a little hard to get open but it means that whatever you put in, isn't coming out until you want it to. The stitching on this vest is absolutely over the top and its over all quality surpassed my expectations. One key feature that I really liked is how there is a thin layer of what feels to be Kevlar or a very flexible foam between you and your sapi plate. What ever the material is, it wont stop a bullet, but it's very comfy to wear for extended periods of time. To be honest, a written review does not do this carrier justice.

Burton I bought a Banshee for duty as a Tactical Medic with a local Sheriff's Office SRT team, and for a job overseas as a Tactical/Remote Medic that never materialized. The cut/fit on the Banshee is such that I can easily perform the more detailed skills while wearing it - intubation, needle decompression, surgical crich, etc. - while staying relatively safe. I like the way it wears, and with two 10x12 stand-alone Level 4 plates it's not too heavy nor bulky. I wear it at the range sometimes to get used to running and gunning with it on, and I did PT with it when I was preparing for the SRT assignment (never got off the ground). The stitching is perfect and appears very strong, and I love the way it is put on and secured. I also like that I can remove the cumberbund and wear it like the old DBT fast vests, or put soft inserts in the cumberbund to protect my lower torso at the sides. With the HSGI shoulder pads and stand-alone plates, I find it as close to perfect as one can get, for the money.

Dave (Ramona, Ca)

Was worried the banshee would not fit properly. I'm 5'7 and 140lbs, And it fits perfect. Could still go smaller if needed. Coworker is 6ft 180lbs and fit him comfortable.

Cesar (McAllen, TX)

Real neat Plate carrier. Covers Vital parts of the body and best part of vest is it's low profile. Fully adjustable to almost any size especially my 5'8" 190 ibs fat @$$ XD

Desertrat (Arizona)

Excellent piece of kit for the money. Very adjustable and easy to snug up for a tight ride. Good plate retention with molle on on sides to mount pig plate carrier side plates. Great fit and finish. Hard to beat pricing.

Tyler (Florida)

Nice features and build quality. Light for 1000D cordura.

Brent (Kansas)

Excellent quality. Only takes Medium Plates (not a con if you wear mediums like most people). The carrier sits up real high so it won't interfere with a battle belt or other first line gear. The carrier is super slim. I usually don't like carriers with the front flap but they really did it right with this one. The only thing I don't like is (only if you are wearing real ceramic plates) that the rear plate seems to kind of jab me in the kidneys every time I come down on my stride while running. I have only had for about a week and might be able to adjust this to work better. Otherwise I am going to need to wrap the rear plate in some kind of pad or something. It also fits the plate perfectly in the front and rear. No need to adjust some suspension system or anything as it seems to be made to really just accept Mediums SAPIs.

Prosecutus (PSC Seoul)

Wanted to issue new plate carriers for our teams, and this was affordable and reliable one. According to our guys, they have no objection for this one.

Peppertn (TN)

Was very pleased with the Banshee when I received it. Fits good. And the quality was outstanding.

DocHurley (TN)

Bought this carrier as I was looking to run a minimalist armor setup due to my job. Covering the vitals, keeping the weight down and being able to carry everything I need up high were the requirements I had and this carrier meets and exceeds them. Plenty of room to mount all my gear, fits nice and snug, and allows plenty of movement. Overall I highly recommend this carrier to anyone looking for a high quality plate carrier for a great price.

After months of research, test fitting, field testing with a full compliment of weapons, pouches and dirt. This Banshee RPC is flat out kick ass! Construction, materials used and the platform it offers is spectacular. Able to run w/ or w/o the cumberbun is great. It offers just enough space with out clutter. Attention to detail also, double, triple and X stitching it seems in all the right places. Operating in Arizona with the heat and environment this is the hot ticket. Humping it all day, entering/exit vehicle causally or under stressful situations with ease. I picked up MULTI CAM but plan on ATACS and BLACK for P.D. work. Great product here...made in the U.S.A.
