Track Club History/Events

Began in 2006 as a running club/track club by a former HS track coach and Rayvin Meikle.In 2009 we became our own entity not affiliated with HS.Only middle school in Gwinnett County with a Track Club (28 middle schools).

Practice ScheduleBegins: Monday, Jan. 25th, 2016Monday - FridayTime: 4:30 – 6:00, pick up at HS Stadium TrackWhen meets begin (March) practices are Monday – Thursday.**Coaches make call with cancelling practice.

Practice ExpectationsStudents must be at practice to compete in meetsPick up time is 6:00pm!!– 1st time after 6:15pm = warning– 2nd time after 6:15pm = one less event

in next meet– 3rd time after 6:15pm = does not

compete in next meet.

Footwear/Clothing, Winter Preparation

Running shoes required – – Dicks, Sports Authority.– Fleet feet – Duluth and Lawrenceville– Big Peach Running Club - Suwanee

Warm clothing for practice. Must have sweats and long sleeves.

Run 3-4 days a week over holiday break to prepare for the upcoming season.Maintain 45-60 minutes without walking
