Thanks to Sienna Community Funds, Ridge Point High School’s library is stockedwith a new collection of Chinese language books. RPHS librarian, Ashley Gojara, wasawarded $3,000 to fund her grant, “The Common Love of a Good Story.” Her goalis to provide more literary offerings to support an emerging language in the school’sESL program, while supporting students’ self-selected reading. The collectionincludes more than 60 award-winning and classic fiction novels for Chinesespeaking students to enjoy. Gojara will grow the collection each year by addingmore titles suitable for all grade levels.
