Ship diary part 6: bunkering liquid gas

Ship diary part 7: the Piracy High Risk Area
It has been busy days onboard Fure Viten. A couple of days after passing SriLanka we hade three very welcome guests onboard, a security team. Togetherwe prepared the vessel for passing the Piracy High Risk Area in the Gulf ofAden and Red Sea. Mounting fire hoses around the vessel to make it harder toclimb onboard, making sure all areas were locked and conducting drills is justa few examples of security measures taken.
After a safe passage the security team left us in the Red Sea. A big thanks toyou!

Ship Diary part 8: The Suez Canal
We had a sunny, hot and long day passing through the canal. Instead of goingaround Africa, the Suez Canal saves us about 5000 nm and almost 3 weeks onour voyage to Europe.
Fure Viten completed the canal passage with flying colours, now the vessel isfinally in the Mediterranean.
Up next: discharging in Barcelona.

Ship Diary part 9: First discharging
Finally! Fure Viten safely alongside and cargo operations underway in thePort of Barcelona, after our voyage through Suez.
Next the ship will head to Rotterdam: the final port for this maiden voyage.
