Shipping Commodities Outside of the U.S. on fedex.com Step by Step
1. Verify the address you are shipping from or click the Edit link to change it.
2. Enter the recipient’s information or choose an address from your FedEx address
book or your Microsoft Outlook address book.

3. Select any of the available options that may apply.
4. Although not required, you can view the Government List of Unacceptable
Trading Partners.

5. Indicate the service type.
6. Indicate the package type.

7. Enter the number of packages.
8. Enter the total weight.

9. Verify the ship date or change it by clicking on the calendar icon.
10. Indicate the package contents as Products/Commodities.

11. Indicate the shipment purpose.
12. Enter the total customs value.

13. Verify the account number you would like to bill your transportation cost to.
14. Verify the account number you would like to bill your duties/taxes/fees to.

15. Click the Edit link in the Pickup/Drop-off section to view your options.
16. Click the Continue button.

17. Select or add your commodity information.
18. If you are adding a new commodity, first enter the commodity description.

19. Select the unit of measure.
20. Enter the quantity.

21. Enter the commodity weight as totals or per unit.
22. Enter the customs value as totals or per unit.

23. Select the country of manufacture.
24. Click the Add this Commodity button.

25. Click Calculate to view the estimated duty and tax for your shipment.
26. View the customs documentation that may be required for your shipment, then
select which documentation you would like to print with your label.

27. Click the Ship button.
28. Print the label(s) displayed below, along with any customs documentation.
